Soon everything will be on subscription base. In my country, you can subscribe car from small to big car. Many games are subscription too. Now, it's going to be phone as well 🤦🏻♂️ I wouldn't be surprised if one day, a dog will be subscription too. Literally everything, even your girlfriend 🙊

Yep I can relate I play Diablo 3 bought the standard and expansion played it since 2012 no it's owed by microsoft so i expect in the future they will expect me to pay them a monthly free.
Not a chance I will just play a few games I already go through steam and GoG and stop playing games altogether.

So until now it was everythng litterary free and now we have to pay???
Apple is not premium brand same goes for google and pixel lines.
Paying to network carrier, paying for apps which are costly, paying for brand new device every 2 years or so and now paying for some so called extra services???

Here in Slovakia on a monthly plan 13 pro max cost like 60-70 euros plus regular phone bill which is another 30-50 euros.
And from average salary of 600-800 paying 120-150 just for a phone is very insane. Plus other bills like rent which is 100-350 depends on city or vilage plus size of the flat, gas, electricity and water, TV and Internet bill, traveling cost, food and drinks.
This will kill or ruin most people lives.
Nowdays those companies are very insane.
