There a huge market for small smartphones and many people don't like the notch and want too keep the home bottom
I do fully agree cheaper iPhones would be much better
A 150 pound iPhone would be amazing as I think apple is more suitable for the budget market then high end
I think apple has always targeting the wrong price range and would be a huge improvement if apple become a budget brand

But paired with pathetic amount of ram and ram is really cheap now so why
Also for such strong performance the iPhone lacks the needed cooling system too handle it
Also iOS is very restricted and it shouldn't be legal to not allow alternative app stores
Crazy specs for such a limited functionally and such a over priced phone

2014 design in 2022? U$D 500? SE should be a U$D 199 budget phone... MAybe if Apple releases the 13 Mini as new SE and lower the prince range aound the U$D 250 it could be a hit, but this vintage design has no appeal at all

I can't understand why anyone thought using the iPhone 8 design again (a third time) was a good idea.
They need a cheap model, why can't they just make a plastic version of the iPhone 12/13 Mini - less durable, fewer colors, make it 4G only for all I care, anything but that old sad design tho.

It’s kinda understandable as they’ve stopped selling in Russia and neighbouring countries are probably focusing on other things than buying new phone. And on top of this there’s global inflation.

Apple must be bold enough to tell it as it is- consumers have chosen not to buy an expensive phone with a quick chip but in an outdated body build ….. Clear and simple….. I for one waited to get an SE at least in an XR or 11 build and finally had to settle for the Galaxy A53

And then Apple will dump all the new unsold iPhone SE to India, just like it did with the iPhone 11, XR and SE 2020. They are the highest selling models here.

As expected.
I believe that's because:
1. battery life is still fall short especially if you do lots of video calls and Snapchat and,
2. Missing of Night camera ability.
Hoping next and last iPhone with a LCD 🤩panel will come out without these drawbacks.
