If apple had gone for a notched display and upgraded battery, this would have been a good phone to buy for this price. Only a15 chip and 5g will not sell a lot of phones.

I don't think Apple did a good thing by cutting iPhone SE production by 20%. P.S. I'm very worried that the new iPhone SE might discontinue after only a year.

Even more so because it feels like it's way taller (longer) than XR and not so much wider. I'm a dude with rather big hands and I can just reach entire display of XR with my thumb. No way on A52s. Not a bad phone at all, but it's pretty big. iPhone SE sort of goes into other direction and it's relatively tiny compared to both, XR and A52s.

My average build teenage daughter can use her Samsung A52s without issue about the size and weight though. As for me, I can never go back to such small display. If the SE 3 is using same display panel as the SE 2, which I suspect it is, then the display quality would be pretty average too.

Yes, you can look at reviews and benchmarks/performance/battery life, etc, but at the end of the day, you are the one who has to use it, so choose urself what matters more to u, and depending on where you are coming from (I mean ur previous phone)
I personally don't care about updates, until last August I was still running an Android 7.0 phone (not even 7.1) with March 2017 patch-the Z2 Plus only because I had chosen the phone for it's SD820 chip in compact ff for $250!

Inflation did nothing to Apple's production. If that was the case, Pro models would have faced the same situation. The SE model itself contains too outdated specs.

Should I buy A52s or A53
A52s has Snapdragon 778g and can be upgradable to Android 14(3 os updates from Android 11)
A53 has Exynos 1280(Weaker) but can be upgradable to Android 16(4 is updates from Android 12)
So, which is better more updates or faster processor

The only issue with this phone is the price. If it was at the price of A53, I've always would preferred it over A53. It has great quality build, it has great haptics, it can be operated with normal human hand. Unfortunately this is not the case. I can swallow A53 or Mi 11 lite 5g plastic build and terrible haptics paying half of the price of the iPhone. And currently you can buy iPhone 12 mini at the same price or SE2020 for the half of the price if the lack of 5g is not an issue.
