Charging is a chore - the quicker you're done with it, the better.

nanagdad, 04 Apr 2022Getting Realme GT neo 150W charging. 0-50% in 5min 0-100... moreJesus dude, you're so salty over charging...

Getting Realme GT neo 150W charging.
              0-50% in 5min
              0-100% in 16min

F**(k slow charging in Apple, Pixel, & Samsung nowonder they don't include chargers in their box it's embarrassing to put those 5W, 25W & 45W chargers which charge their phones in 1-2 hours sh#t.

I still like the idea of having at least the option of fast charging. Why not? Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

That said, I have a Poco F3 and the 30(+) watt charger gets it to 100% within an hour usually when I need a fast charge, and my old chargers from phones I had years ago which are no longer with us, do a great job of a nice, slow, cool, overnight charge when required.

I don't follow the battery indicator on my phone too closely anymore. I still have the original "fast" charger in the living room for when I need a fast top-up, and if I see the low-battery notification pop up while gaming or browsing in bed, then that's time for the slow charger.

As for the "20% - 80%" thing, I can't pull that off in reality.

Even if I leave the house with 80% in the morning, I plug the phone into the car to use Android Auto, and that charges it up to 100% anyway while sitting in traffic, so not much point even trying (I don't want to stream over BT to the car stereo as the sound quality isn't as good and I don't have Android Auto wireless).

Those batteries 5 or 10 years back were SHTE .... !
                  Today batteries improved !

                  Listen or read to this!

Ppl are crazy with the smartphones !
Smartphone mania still continues so because of this, mostly naive teenagers and ppl in age from 20 to 35 are like little boys and little girls they want new toy every year nowadays.
So they buy new smartphone every year or every two years.. And by that time, they absolutely not going to harm their batteries (unless they don't charge it nonstop because of the bloody games) So normal user can charge battery as fast possible the battery not going to be hurt within those two years ! And they buy new phone and they don't care about old one...
In other side those little kids playing games nonstop making phone very hot keeping battery charging literally nonstop - OF COURSE their battery going to be destroyed in no time ! They don't stop playing !
Normal phone user ho don't play shty games their battery will be fine even after 3 or 4 years !

As for charging, 120W gives me a daily full charge within 1 youtube video, amazing stuff, never realized how useful this stupid speed can be.

And they are powered by magic pixies apparently. Those 1600 charge cycles are BS if you ask me. And they advertise it with the ridiculous fast charging. Yeah, I'm not going to believe it. There is no such dramatic difference in li-ion cells durability. They are all about the same across ALL devices.
