AnTuTu charts show Dimensity 9000 is breathing down Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's neck

The performance charts are still dominated by Snapdragon chips. Interestingly, the value for money charts are as well.

This is not about Qualcomm becoming behind in terms of progress, but more on them becoming a major victim of Samsung's inferior 5nm and 4nm fabrication process compared to TSMC's counterparts that is making their SoCs perform worse than they should be capable of.
And for all Samsung fanboys that are planning to attack me for this, it's about time for you guys to recognize that this is the objective problem for Qualcomm's, and even the Exynos's underwhelming power efficiency and sustained performance since last year. If Qualcomm truly believes that Samsung's fabrication process is every bit as good, if not better than TSMC's, then there should be no reason for them to go back to TSMC in manufacturing the SD 8 Gen 1+, as they would have to wait for the likes of Apple and MediaTek to finish their orders from TSMC before their request to manufacture Snapdragon SoCs can be fulfilled by TSMC, while with Samsung, they could have them produce as many units as Qualcomm wishes to have, or at least as much as how many Samsung's laboratories could produce for their customers. The bottomline is, it would be easier and cheaper for Qualcomm to let Samsung manufacture their Snapdragon SoCs, but they still want to go back to TSMC despite the distinct advantages of going with Samsung instead, so the reason is already simple and apparent: that Qualcomm truly believes that TSMC has the better fabrication process as of now compared to Samsung.

I can't wait to buy a dimensity 9000 phone, sadly K50 pro isn't available globally. Guess we'll have to see what POCO has in store.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2022Wait, wasn't everyone saying how Dimensity 9000 absolu... moreSustained performance, but wait till Sn8gen1 node has same manufacturer as Mediatek...Samsung is not up to par on 4nm node, but TSMC will start producing Sn8 soon so...Heat is biggest issue atm. For Antutu and for battery drain.

Stop making the most powerful, make the most efficient chip or is the job of oem to optimize please do it, we don't need a meltdown on our pocket

Antutu is compound of all elements and GPU is still a big factor. Exy and Dimen can buff GPU but will never come close to Adreno.

Wait, wasn't everyone saying how Dimensity 9000 absolutely demolishes everything?
