The 8100 is the real deal best chipset of the year so far

We have virtual machines out there to give us a rooted experience on an unrooted phone
Why are we wasting time on dinosaur approach with custom ROMs .. custom ROMs need to die out forever
More energy and attention need to go towards superior virtual machine

I actually wasn't into emulation for more than a decade. I got into it in 2008 on my jailbroken Gen 1 iPod touch. Then a couple years later on my PSP phat. It was still pretty terrible at the time even with NES ROMs. Can still see graphical glitches in Super Mario World. But around 2019, it's been amazing playing Dreamcast, PSP, and GameCube. And we're just barely getting great PS2 emulation via AetherSX2.
This is why I avoided Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Once I saw they were using an unreleased Exynos chip and called it Tensor, I knew I was out on the Pixel 6. The emulation scene is great right now and Mali GPU will prevent an ideal experience for them. It's also why I avoid the many $100-$200 Chinese handhelds. An Odin Pro with Snap845 is better for any emulation up to PS2.
I'm starting to realize that I'm better off NOT getting the Steam Deck. I saw a video last night that turned me off on it. Seems to me retro gaming is better on an Android smartphone with a Snap870 minimum. Most of the emulators don't need so many changes to the settings. Steam Deck with AMD seems to require it. My smartphone pretty much fills my gaming needs up to some Wii games.

Delighted that I have ordered my K50 Gaming Edition handset.
What made the choice for me. Is cooling... Literally a swimming pool to cool that mighty powerful SoC... But that GPU is better than that in the A15.
Cooling. Or thermal efficiency is sooo important for me. Okay. You all know that I am a gamer. I have a red magic at the moment. And the cooling is great. The power strong and consistent.
Naturally for me. To have a special focus on cooling is sooo important matched with a flagship SoC is vital. I don't feel safe with an SoC without gaming category cooling.
You might think gaming on a smartphone is trivial. But it's important and fun for me. But I need my SoC to deliver high performance all the time. For long periods of time. And to keep that temperature under some kind of control.
Never will I go back to a non gaming phone. It would feel like half the phone is missing.

They always stated in their marketing that their flagship chipsets are 'better' than snapdragon counterparts but in reality/real world/in device benchmarks, the result always show that they still cant beat snapdragon chipset. They did marketing like this since their first dimensity lineup and everytime their antutu/geekbench values still lower than snapdragon. EVERYTIME. That's why i never believe anything theoretical/in lab/prototype benchmark that they always bragging up. Of course they need to lie to make their chipsets look better to boost their sales. So after this, remember. Dont ever believes any benchmark result in marketing until they made into a actual device and being test by actual customer.

Well I'm a fan of Snapdragon but when the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone came out with the Mediatek G90T everything changed because at that time it was thought that Xiaomi was going to be bad but it was just the opposite. We must accept that Mediatek has been improving too much in a very short time and seeing the graphics in Antutu it looks powerful reaching Apple's A15 Bionic. It must be recognized and the GPU on the other hand is on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the same way by a few points but even above the Snapdragon.
It is only to try this processor and see if what the bad comments say is true.

The S21 Ultra (Exynos) seems to have compatibility issues in emulators still, how many years are we supposed to wait?

I avoid Mali for retro console emulation, so I don't care about how good Dimensity 9000 is. I only use Crapdragon or Steam Oven as what Qualcomm/Snapdragons haters say around here because they only experienced crappy MediaTek in their third world country.
"Anyone who cares about emulation knows not to use anything with a Mali GPU. The drivers are bad and cause severe compatibility and performance issues. Emulation is the main reason I care about the SoC so I wouldn't use anything other than Snapdragon, maybe Samsung's AMD GPU will change that."
