What scandal? 🤔 What's GOS? Only a couple hundred thousand techies even know what GOS is. The general public could care less. Perhaps it's simply the Galaxy has lost it popularity.

I ended up sideloading Package Disabler Pro. It used to be on the Play store but now you have to download it from their website. Anyway I disabled a lot of useless things that were running in the background. My battery life is a lot better now. It's a serious noticeable improvement. You can Google up what packages you should and should not disable off of XDA forums and other places.

I'm sure GOS has nothing to do with poor sales and is rather an excuse for it. 95% of buyers have no idea what GOS is. The real reason in my opinion is that S22 is not good enough product and doesn't justify its high price tag. I'm not saying it's all bad product - but not good enough for price. Not to mention that last 2 generation of flagships from all companies already gained a bad reputation for overheating and high price tag. In case with Samsung's Exynos - overheating comes with worse performance and battery life compared with even not so good in that regard Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Also - Samsung offers no 3.5 mm jack, no charger, no real quick charge... Sorry, but with all this and almost the same price - I'd better get an iPhone. Especially, considering its much higher resale value. If Android is absolutely needed - Xiaomi 12X offers flagship class performance without overheating, great battery life, quick charge and 67 Watt charger in box, more premium design and feel than S22 and all this for much less price tag. So, where is a place for S22 on today's market..?

Failing? I pre-ordered on the 10th of February and I'm yet to receive a call to go get my phone... They said it would "maybee" come at the end of April which is absurd and extremely unprofessional for Samsung to not deliver the devices on time...

The point of including every feature is to make the device usable for everyone. Some need SD card, some headphone jack, some powerful soc. Just because one of you don't need doesn't mean someone else won't.
Samsung was seen as a premium manufacturer which includes everything a phone can mostly have (each year). No wonder it moved from its place, people moved from it.

People should stop buying mobiles above 600$. Its completely waste of money. Sales are low because price is too high,combine with an insulting 128GB as base storage and no room to expand.

Galalxy a32 also have gos installed...lots of app were lagging but after GOS news break out....samsung disabled GOS.
Now my phone is super fast...

This site presents all the news, not only those who interest certain people.
I know that in the past, there were a lot of Xiaomi fanboys in here, eager to see and comment on every Sony and Apple bad post.
Now, there are more Samsung related news, because Samsung is the bad guy these days. And looking at their recent phones, it looks like is not just false news.
And Xiaomi is not far behind. Depends also on how good the 12 series will be in the near future. Price wise, not so good. Maybe quality will be better than in past years and that will make Xiaomi an alternative again.

If your phone is stolen the only solution is to encrypt the internal storage before which 99% of people don't do anyway. Any thief can flash a bootloader and have access to your pictures and videos.

Those who want it now, will get the failed devices that were rushed. Wait for problems to be fixed or most to be fixed then get it.

And for those that do (some top-secret military agents), I doubt they will be using an S22 anyway (maybe some "cheaper" more secure alternative), or if they do, it will be preconfigured to reject SD cards, but again, this must be 1% of buyers of the S22. So this is a non-problem. And if you need, nothing prevents you from NOT using an SD card, if the slot is there. So this is again, a non-problem.
