Is this the reason Xiaomi is starting to skimp on product quality?

Long gone the glory days of Hugo Barra when Xiaomi was a great brand with a nice track record and phones, not involved in scandals like this

This time, it is more about just an investigation of any suspected illegal business practices rather than India specifically attacking Xiaomi or it's country of origin because a lot of chinese phones sell quite well in India

And btw your eyes and mine arent the same, so what you can see isn't necessarily the same as others!!
Also realme has been kicking xiaomi's ass for quite some time now and any1 in my circle at least doesn't like xioami one bit even though a couple of them have their phones (one even has the 1+ NEVER SETTLE wallpaper on it to make him feel better, at least he has one of the better xiami phones-redmi note 8 Pro)

Indians from what I can see are happy to have Xiaomi growing and becoming part of their country.

I'm working for UK business of which whole production comes from China. They had so much problems due to covid from THE WORLD that now if cases are rising they shut every single factory for weeks. We had so many factories shut there are months of delays in production... Unless you are in the business you'll never see it but the problem is there. We as a world rely on China waaaay too much and that's the biggest problem.

                          lol

Artificial chip shortage indirectly helped brands to increase prices, now they are in huge profits. Government found this scam since all manufacturers doing it, they wanted to know.

"The attack on Xiaomi is yet another step India is taking amid rising tensions with its neighboring country. Previously, scrutiny involved raiding the brand’s office in India in a separate investigation over alleged income tax evasion. Other Chinese makers were raided as well. "

Can anyone explain to me why India hates Chinese makers? (i don't know anything and need explanation)
