The company expected to add 2.5 million subscribers but actually lost 200,000 in Q1.

Yes constants price hikes(when competitors give 4k with multiple people watching for over half the price), then they are going to stop account sharing or at least make people pay for it, inserts ads(and even then it would be likely higher cost than competitors without ads).

Then the usuals regional differences what to watch etc.

I think instead Netflix should add yearly subscriptions for 20-25 percent cheaper than ordering monthly, make single user 480p, full hd and 4k and for 2 dollars per month extra user and with 5 dollars per month extra 3 users, even the regional differences and if there needs to be ads insert those between show/video "cards" when users scrolling what to watch instead of first, between and after users watch a show or movie.

I doubt Netflix will listen what i said they should do and instead go with what i expect they do.

And there's no way for me to socialize personally with friends scattered all over the world. I am not rich enough to pay for an airline ticket whenever I want to.

Honestly, netflix has become boring now. Also not all movies and content are available and scattered across multiple apps which all charge some amount.

Netflix need to have some kind of half yearly or yearly package like disney+ and prime.

i got a large blu-ray disc collection (i have stopped counting) and i watch my movies whenever i want to. i am not stressed like netflix customers as i can watch my movies without worrying about whether the subscription is worth it because and i don't use netflix regularly and without worrying about if there are all the films i want to watch included. blu-rays are MY property and no one can take them offline or demand money from me. i can watch the a thousand times without paying anything.

Its way too expensive for what they offer, also I'm from Eastern Europe and for same price as in Western Europe or States we get less content and no subtitle. maybe its funny (for subtitle) but it is a problem when you have small children and only option to watch some content is late in evening when kids are sleeping. Meanwhile there are local new comers emerge in the business for less money and almost same content (except Netflix production movies and shows) they have to be way cheaper on poor markets if they want to grow and provide "western values" influence and soft power (that's Netflix all about let face it) and that can be easy done since the content is poorer than in richer countries.

Ads on Netflix is no different to a TV channel, but you're paying another subscription for. If minimal it might work but if it's minutes then it won't work.

I'm not surprised, nearly every country has a different Netflix not uniform at all what I can watch and what my American friend can aren't even the same. This isn't just Netflix either of course, Canceled mine 8 months ago and never looked back not to mention the increase in cost each month.

I found myself watching more Youtube than Netflix - even though I had a NF premium account.

Their productions often suck, they are too political, and there is often nothing to watch.

They then chuck tens of millions at a-list directors and actors, just to produce a mediocre script that has probably been rejected by several movie studios already.

Now they are charging more for no good reason, and looking for ways to ensure that you don't actually use all the user profiles you are paying for.

I'll try another service in the meantime at some point.

We're going through an economic depression. Some of the poorest in 'Rich' countries are choosing between heating or eating. Subscriptions to 3+ TV content providers will take a back seat.

When advertising begin in TV i have enough of time to cook even a dinner for two untill it ends.
Its very frustrating if a TV show last 45 minutes without ads but with ads it lasts twice as long. 5-7 minutes for advertising and like 1-3 mninutes for advertising on TV content like what movies we can expect next month, TV Show promotions etc. Anyway its between 7-10 minutes usualy.
If it would be possible i would pay extra for having no advertising but its not possible because every customer see same content.
I pay 43,50 euros monthly for like 220 TV channels plus fastest internet in country or at least i thinks so. 1GB/s is pretty fast compared to what most of my family and friends across the country have.

I heard "Advertisements on TV" are a big problem in places like East-Asia and in the Eastern Europe. So nation states like Romania and Pakistan look most affected. Heard they sometimes have more Ads than Content. So where your usual 3min break that comes on four times in an hour... it becomes a 20min break that comes on twice an hour.

why should i consider netflix, if i rarely watch tv/movie nowadays?
it is not cheap, there is sooooo many restrictions and my phone don't support it's best resolution.
