20 April 2022
The company expected to add 2.5 million subscribers but actually lost 200,000 in Q1.

BrianCoriour, 20 Apr 2022Yall paying to watch movies and tv shows ????? I watch all ... moreWow you are a genius ! .

But I prerer to subscribe Netflix as its contents are all Quality shows and not just any garbage and I am sure for a Current running great show you won't be able to watch when aired as you need to wait, some one will rip the show and then upload it or peer it ...etc etc which mught take you 3 to 4 days of waiting and plus now a days finding the torrent is also has also reduced and given yhe the fact any kind person was able to peer it.
And so on the same day I can watch it live via Netflix . Its worth. I have never subscribed others and watched all for free but only for Netflix as its wortb.

Netflix need have a lot of tier plans as follows, for example:
    Free plan: FREE
    -limited to 1 device
-contains ads before starting the movie/TV show and every 10 minutes will have ads during movie/TV show is playing
-unskipable 30 seconds ads (paid tier able to skip ads after 5 seconds)
    -480p
Standard Lite plan: RM19.90 ($5) per month
    -limited to 1 device
-contains ads before starting the movie/TV show
    -SD 480p
Standard plan: RM35 ($8) per month
    -limited to 1 device
    -no ads
    -480p
HD lite plan: RM35 ($8) per month
    -limited to 2 devices
-with ads before starting the movie/TV show
    -1080p
HD plan: RM45 ($10.50) per month
    -limited to 2 devices
    -no ads
    -1080p
    4K/UHD lite plan: RM45 ($10.50) per month
    -limited to 4 devices
    -with ads
    -2160p
    4K/UHD plan: RM55 ($12.80) per month
    -limited to 4 devices
    -without ads
    -2160p

This is my own idea for Netflix

Yall paying to watch movies and tv shows ????? I watch all that for free with no ads easy.

Go Woke, Go Broke. Love from India. Amazon Prime will soon follow after the disaster knows as "The Rings Of Power".

Well if u compare prices of prime Disney hotstar Netflix is still expensive it's basic pack of 720p monthly price is hella expensive even though they slashed prices but yearly price of Netflix for 720 and 1080 is still expensive as compared to prime which is only 999

They subscribe is too much let them reduce the amount others are giving it free of charge

AnonD-762416, 20 Apr 2022It is not the cheap tier that is the problem, it's the... moreOr for four concurrent streams. If you want UHD or need the ability to have up to four streams, you have no choice but to pay for the top tier.

I have no use for four stream capability. But I need UHD. I wish they had a lower tier that had UHD. But I surpassed the 50% mark for UHD watching back in 2018. Most of what I watch has been UHD for awhile now. And if the content is available in UHD, that is how I am watching it.

They (and other streaming services) are really are in a tough spot. I am actually quite surprised how well they all have been keeping up, considering there are freely accessible alternatives (Yarr har fiddle dee dee) just a couple of clicks away where you do not have to log in or care if they have this or that series...

                    Go woke, go broke!

It’s simple: lower the prices and the people will subscribe. Keep increasing prices and people will leave. Ad-based is not a solution. The shows are crap too.

Should be losing customers. Content in the U.S. is up to date, while other countries have to wait ages for the same content.

Andri , 20 Apr 2022You watch YouTube on a phone screen instead of a big TV screen?! Yes. About 90% of the time. The other 10% is on pc, but only because it happens to be on or I'm using it. Tablets and laptops are not comfortable enough to use like a smartphone. Especially in bed or while eating or outside. The TV is just gathering dust at the moment and I'm thinking of replacing it with an aquarium/terrarium instead. My cat will probably love it! 👽❤️🐱🐶

                              No thanks.

How they can charge so much for 4K, when others give it "free" wake up netflix!

Also your content pretty much sucks these days

Crappy Content. The other players have more quality shows than Netflix.
They discontinue their shows on a whim. Why should we be invested when they do that.
