Just buy it when the initial build is already good enough and enjoy. Updates will, more often than not, make it slower because newer versions and apps are built for newer chipsets, so if it runs fast enough on these, they don't care for older devices. Sad but common practice, unefficient app coding, wasting cpu power

And it wont be slow, 4 years Ago flagship used cortex A75 and 5 years Ago they use cortex A73, so 4 or 5 years from Now Cortex A78 would still be relevant, like how soc like sd 680, G80, G85, G88, those Unisoc T600 series are relevant today with cortex A73 and 75 from 4 to 5 years ago.

It's gonna get slower and slower with each Android version update and it's already so slow.

Yext, 21 Apr 2022I'll explain the problem in a different way. Currently... moreYou see last year they Anounced A52, A525G and A52s. A52s is for Enthuasist like me and you, but it doesnt mean All people in the world need that phone.
For average people maybe 3.5mm jack will make difference, but they wont see difference between A52s and A53. And past years Exynos have beeen better each updates, This A53 would be more responsive in Long Term.
And where am from A53 is $350 and A33 is $300 which is reasonable.

Hemedans, 21 Apr 20222 update lessMy bad, either way, I wouldn't pay 162 eur for 2 updates either, the phone is just that much less powerful with worse ISP and a slower camera app. For 162 eur I can get some pretty good bluetooth earphones or even another phone for someone else in my family or I can just save it, that's a huge price gap for something that's worse.

Currently in my country the infinitely more powerful A52s that also has a headphone jack and comes with a charger costs 350 eur, the A53 costs 512 eur. Would you pay 162 eur for 1 android update while having a less powerful phone?

No updates is one thing, but a phone that is laggy at launch (A53 is) and costs as much as a flagship from last year, is just not worth it. If you seriously want to use an A53 for 5 years.. well good luck with that, A52s will get one update less and is so much more capable..
