Anonymous, 25 Apr 2022But, the real question do you take advantage of that longer... moreI didn't in the past when on Android because all phone vendors ditched me after just 2 years. It's the first time on iPhone that I have same phone for over 3 years and I'm still excited for iOS 16 in fall 2022. Getting major OS update on any Android phone I owned in the past for 4th year was just entirely unheard of thing.

[deleted post]2 years?? thats pretty short. i change phones every 3.5 years. android is boring for me because it is already the same. i dont know which iphones should i buy in the future🤔

Lulfie, 25 Apr 2022Name a OS with ads you cant remove, I'll waitWhat some people call bloatware, other people actually use those extra preinstalled apps. Also, many Android skins has decreased the number of preinstalled apps. MiUi and One Ui are some examples (with latest MiUi 13 and One Ui 4.1). Realme Ui was already like stock Android.
As for ads, those appear only on cheap Redmi and Poco devices. Mid-range and flagship phones have those disabled from factory, as default. As for Realme or OnePlus phones, I have never ever seen any ads on their models.
And even some cheap models don't have ads enabled by default. My colleague has a Redmi Note 5G and no ads on MiUi or on Xiaomi apps.

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2022But, the real question do you take advantage of that longer... moreI clearly stated that lately Samsung is trying ,my only problem is oneUi, lads with Motorola, Pixel and Nokia are enjoying Android like how it was meant to be without any added skins.

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2022Neah, the only reason people moved to IOS in the past year ... moreTorrents are illegal that's why you won't find them from AppStore, nothing to do with Apple wanting to sell their own services, if Apple would allow torrent app to their AppStore, Apple would get tear apart by many

JKLMNEFG, 25 Apr 2022A lot of people wonder why iOS always win. For me, no Bloat... moreBut, the real question do you take advantage of that longer support? I mean, do you have a 4-5 years old iPhone? If not, that longer support means nothing.
My second hand S20+ (a 2 years old device for which I paid 400EUR) is still receiving monthly updates. Probably next year I will change it with something like S21 Ultra (which will probably cost 400-500EUR at that time).
I am almost certain, iPhone users on this site, change their iPhones once per 2-3 years maximum. On that period of time, Samsung phones are similar in software support. So, software longevity doesn't mean anything, if you change your phone frequently. Price is far more important criteria in this case. And on this, Android wins with no problems. Just imagine me, instead of buying a Galaxy S20+ with 400EUR, I would have bought an iPhone SE3 or iPhone Xr/11 for the same money. Lol, no way.

A lot of people wonder why iOS always win. For me, no Bloatware, longer support (regular updates) , clean & smooth UI. Pixel comes second . For both no added skins. Samsung is trying with the updates and oneUi 4.1

-Trix-, 25 Apr 2022Not surprising, iPhone 13 line barely have real competition... moreNeah, the only reason people moved to IOS in the past year is because Xiaomi and Realme increased their prices too much for their flagships, OnePlus has lost its identity and Samsung has had the GOS scandal.
But Android is still better for many other people. Apple has good services as long as you stay in IOS all the time with all your devices. If people accept this, than good for them, but not all people accept this.
One example is that you can't find any torrent apps in Apple Store. Of course, Apple can say is illegal or whatever, but in fact they want their users to use only Apple services.
Some people are happy when some companies make the decisions for them. Something like "Let the professionals do the thinking for you". But many other people want flexibility and to make and have their own decisions. Android lets you do this more than IOS does.

iPhone is a highly reliable phone.
                        1. No worries on upgrading to the next series
                        2. No worries on software / hardware support
                        3. No worries on accessories
                        4. No worries on security

Well, one may worry about having no money to buy iPhone. But then again, comparing with other things in the world, iPhone is rather affordable for the avg first world country users. And for these people, iPhone is nothing.. its not bragging, its nothing.. People just enjoy using them.

[deleted post]Assuming you'll even get Android 14 lol. Unless the phone is higher end and you bought it in 2022, chances are pretty slim actually...

[deleted post]Sometimes, you gotta give credit to Apple for the user experience they actually deliver. Apple is reusing the iPhone 12 Pro Max sensor for their iPhone 13 and 13 Mini. They always introduce new sensors for their Pro models, and they prove again and again to be a massive improvement over their last year, even if the sensor is tiny next to what Samsung delivers.

Same for Battery; I was amazed at how the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini managed 7 and 8 hours of endurance, respectively.

It's unfair to bash Apple for their specs. I will bash them for their lack of periscope cameras. I understand that Apple wants to wait, but this is a tried-and-tested piece of hardware that Android users have enjoyed for three years.

I will switch over to iPhones as soon as they fix their hardware deficits such as charging, notch, and zoom. Apple is really shooting itself in the foot with these issues because its software integration is beautiful. But over and over, I was let down by the iPhone 11's lack of AF on its ultrawide and complete lack of zoom lens.

On a side note, I bet you think the Mi 11 Ultra has good battery life when it can't even reach 6 hours of screen time. (My source is Technick's battery tests) I can hand you an iPhone 11 Pro Max and you'd not notice a single problem with it until I reminded you of the 4 GBs of RAM it sports or the enormous notch. Grow up.

Well yes, many android users are moving to Ios, around me there are already more than a dozen who are leaving android, I waited for the iphone 14 to see what it brings, but I will continue with nadroid I am not going to argue hahahahaha what it is better and blah blah blah I only buy an iphone and continue with my android

-Trix-, 25 Apr 2022Not surprising, iPhone 13 line barely have real competition... moreEveryone telling you that where do you get that lie from, they say it because of the ecosystem of apple and Ios, but they say it without knowing that in android there is no ecosystem as functional as apple's, the only one that comes a little closer is the from Google and it has a long way to go, but you will get comments from trolls all day hahaha

Not surprising, iPhone 13 line barely have real competition in the market. The whole experience what you get from iOS and Apple ecosystem is so much ahead of competition.
