08 May 2022
The phone assembled a team of five cameras - three on the back and two on the front - and the new leadership of the mobile division had high hopes for it.

kek, 09 May 2022Special thanks to Indian people who love to buy BBK stuff b... moreWages are extremely low compare to Western countries but products are similarly priced to international.

An iPhone 13 Pro 128GB price is almost equal to per capita of the nation.

Due to change in regime we got so much cheap data otherwise 5 years ago we used to pay $4/GB for 4G which didn't even touch 1MB/s.

Easy for you to say but life is quite struggle for average Indian.

kek, 09 May 2022Special thanks to Indian people who love to buy BBK stuff b... moreAlright then how about you setup your own company in India to sell them phones

As someone who tried the LG train with their G2, G3, and later G4, I said to myself enough is enough. G2 developed a problem where the screen shakes like crazy when you touched it, and it happens randomly. LG service center recommended a whole new display unit replacement, and of course I have to pay since it's not covered under warranty. G3 had massive problems on it's own, but nothing deemed unusable. However, G4 trumps both of my phones with its awesome bootloop. Now I have an expensive doorstopper on my home.

Good riddance LG mobile division, I won't miss your phones.

Its literally thanks to them that Europe is now flooded with Xiaomi and all those BBK brands.

The problem with LG Flagships is that most people knee they could wait a few months or a year and grab them by cheap. This led to LG not getting any revenue back and causing them losses.

It was partly their fault due to their lack of marketing and their underwhelming numbers of issues with the G5/V10

I used it for 3 years and never had any issues or had to restart it. Today it's still working fine for my son. Still missing it a little bit because it was nearly perfect and is still hard to beat in 2022 with it's combination of features.

LG v40 is the 1 of d best of the year. Very nice 👍 phone 👍

I'm using the G8X everyday for music and camera and overall, its something no other phone can replace.
Take a Samsung/Apple/any phone 4 times higher priced and still LG is better.

Samsung & Apple brands are about to be recognized in a "higher social status"....when you buy their products you are more "social attractive"...

The smart buyers does not get attracted by those false lights!!!!!!

LG had much more contribuitions than samsung and xiaomi.

Samsung copies other, advertise as something new and media praises it.

I dont understand why big notch is an issue for some people? And why it becomes a measure of comparison.
Iphone has huge notch design and people still buys them.

joe nodden, 08 May 2022That would imply the V30 was no better than the G5.the V30 got no problems in terms of technology...with the LG G5 otherwise LG placed bets on modular phones and was a big disaster...they never recovered from that!!!!!

See, NOT EVEN SOUTH KOREA (their home turf) is included!

Still have my LG G5 and it works well as a multimedia player. The speaker is excellent. But battery life is atrocious and GPS does get glitchy. Software also got laggy after only a few years when it was buttery smooth when I first got it. It's that outdated eMMC.

Snapdragon 845 is still a a good chip that this V40 has. I'm using my Pixel 3 again which has the same chip and it's smooth after 4 years. Decided I'm selling my Razr 5G but will keep my Flip 3. I hate the 765G. Comparable to a 835, it lags after a few days every time. Gets annoying. Only flagship Snapdragons for me. Will wait for the Razr 3 with Snap 8 Gen 1.
