Am I the only one lamenting the 6a only has 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage with no option for more? I think 8GB and 256GB should be the bare minimum for a upper midrange nowadays.

It's front design looks like crap if compared to 5a that has symmetrical bezels and punch hole at the corner that doesn't look distracting at all. Lol even the bezels looks thicker than what on Pixel 6. The only advantage this phone has is its compact size.

Any chip made by Samsung is bad ( Tensor, SD 8gen1 ) overheating and throttling. Just postpone your purchase until android phones with Snapdragon made by TSMC comes out. I skipped both SD 888 and 8gen1 phones still rocking SD 865 made by TSMC.

Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a were super cool budget phones, compact, light, amazing camera and decent mid-range Snapdragon processors not to mention the inclusion of the 3.5mm jack

It seems that they are going in another direction :(

Get this, or wait until the vanilla Samsung S22 is under $500? I generally prefer Samsung to stock android, but I never pay more than $500 for a phone.

If those are not important to you then the 5a is a great phone. It's been my main phone since I bought it, but it is 100% the last big phone I will buy.
