This is why Apple saying it would 'stifle innovation' because consumers use their devices like a bull, throwing their cable in it carelessly and after breaking it for doing so, innovation really stifles!

Think clearly about it again. Think about the infrastructure limitations there were back then and also the slow network speeds we had at the time etc etc

you have to suffer, 16 May 2022even worse, phone makers is lazy to make android optimized.... moreWell, it's more of a general consensus that iPhones are overpriced because they cost the same, but have half the RAM as Android phones. But I think that's irrelevant if they can make them as efficient as Android phones, but with half the RAM. I mean, they had to do extra work elsewhere (likely on software level with iOS) to achieve that so it's not all "pure extra profit" from that.

You might remember pointless graphic cards with absurd amounts of VRAM in the past. Same thing. It was always some cheap weak model of a graphic card with 2x the memory it would ever be able to even use. If it did use that much of memory it wasn't capable of processing everything that was in it anyways.

With Android phones it's the same and some more. Mostly how phone makers, instead of optimizing the OS just throw more RAM at the problem and call it a day.
