you have to suffer, 16 May 2022even worse, phone makers is lazy to make android optimized.... moreWell, it's more of a general consensus that iPhones are overpriced because they cost the same, but have half the RAM as Android phones. But I think that's irrelevant if they can make them as efficient as Android phones, but with half the RAM. I mean, they had to do extra work elsewhere (likely on software level with iOS) to achieve that so it's not all "pure extra profit" from that.

You might remember pointless graphic cards with absurd amounts of VRAM in the past. Same thing. It was always some cheap weak model of a graphic card with 2x the memory it would ever be able to even use. If it did use that much of memory it wasn't capable of processing everything that was in it anyways.
With Android phones it's the same and some more. Mostly how phone makers, instead of optimizing the OS just throw more RAM at the problem and call it a day.

Everyone here is obsessed with bigger numbers, even if they have no idea what they even mean or do. RAM in particular. They always complain how little iPhone have it and always hype how much Android phone have it. And yet in the end iPhones perform equally well even with half as much RAM...

Anonymous, 15 May 2022Are we finally going to use fast chargers with USB-C iPhones? No , they might be going to type c but I doubt they will go nuts of charging speeds , I’m guessing Samsung type speeds , 25-30w
I don’t care either way, it won’t change much for people who don’t care much how it charges and don’t connect to a pc via cable.
Some new androids still use micro usb , and I’m still ok with that too.

It is not android devices only. Most of any electronic devices are using type C. Laptops, gaming controllers, headphones, bluetooth speakers...

i think, just from hardware perspective, lightning is better than usb c. For usb c, there is a small metal plate (the male part) placed inside the device, rather than the cable. Due to this, if it gets loose after some time, the user has to get his device opened. In lightning system, the male part is on cable side, so one can just purchase new cable.

Akashi Seijuro, 15 May 20221. It can do so, but the process is way too cumbersome, whi... more1. Very few phones actually get their advertised speed in the real world. Just because it's labeled USB3, doesn't mean it'll actually get those speeds (complain to USBIF, not me). The process also isn't that cumbersome, I've tried it (believe me or don't, I don't really care).
2. Almost no modern Androids have a microSD card slot. I don't like to use the "the competition doesn't have it, therefore it's fine" argument, but your entire argument is how iPhones are behind, and they really aren't in this regard (no, I don't like it, but it's just the reality we live in). Also, you get 5GB of iCloud storage for free, and $1 a month ups that to 50GB. The subscription argument really shouldn't be used here.
3. Fair enough... except even fewer Android phones have a headphone jack now.
4. Apple isn't necessarily worse with this than other companies, it's just that they're able to do it more. If a company makes both phones and accessories, it's a fair bet that they're going to lock basic features of their accessories to their phones. Apple is bad with it, but other companies wouldn't be better if they had the choice.
5. Yes they can. They're slower, yes, the Lightning port is worse than USB-C (I'm not arguing about that), but you can still transfer video, even to Windows. I don't think it's Apple's fault that you need iTunes to do it on Windows. Also, again, the USB3 label really doesn't mean anything.
6. It's still there, you thought it wasn't and tried to use as a major point, and now you're changing to the "it's late so it's bad" argument (which has its own problems) since someone pointed that out to you.
7. None of the points we've mentioned here are complicated. They're caused by ignorance. You could've gone after right-to-repair or ecosystem lockdown (you tried to with #4, but went after the wrong thing), which are actual problems with Apple, but no, let's go with the easy targets which Apple isn't even really behind on instead.
