    I really hope EU will force apple to bring USB-C this year. or sue and fine them dearly for not doing like they asked long time ago.

        I can’t even finish some of your attempts to bash at iPhones without laughing how out of touch or stupid you are about the current phones, especially about the headphone jack, no Android phone company that mainly competes at Apple uses a headphone jack and even expandable storage anymore.

        Also, Lighting connectors can output video to an external display.

        People like you really like to make fun how bad Apple fanboys are, but in reality Android fanboys are as bad as Apple fanboys, and you need realize that(not even possible you will after reading some of your failed points you try to make). I’m not defending Apple fanboys, being a fanboy to something no matter what always spells out a red flag of being stupid.

            Also they've been using USB-C in Macs and the iPad Pro range for years now. For many Apple users the iPhone is the outlier that requires you to carry an additional cable.

            The only advantage of Lightning from Apple's point of view is that it is proprietary: they get licensing fees from others who wish to make Lightning-compatible accessories, and because those are incompatible with other platforms they provide a barrier to switching. That said, those are big enough advantages for Apple that I'm pretty sure that the EU are the reason (the EU *will* call Apple's bluff if they think they are more important than mere law-makers).

It can do so, but the process is way too cumbersome, which defeats the entire purpose of smartphones to "make life easier." Add to the fact that Lightning Port is limited to USB 2.0 transfer speeds (maximum of 480Mbps) compared to USB 3.0 and above on most Android flagships and we now have the slowest premium smartphone in terms of data transfer speed. You're fine paying north of thousand dollars for such a slow device?? Fine, but knowing that the more modern technology exists for the same asking price as the others, this is simply a no-brainer for anyone in the right mind.

              2. We're talking about PHYSICAL storage, not Cloud-based, which is difficult to access when internet connection services are poor in certain areas. Also, microSD cards DON'T require a monthly or annual subscription payment; just purchase a quality microSD card one from a trusted brand in a certified store and you'd have no problem storing data without the need of internet connection. Android phones have both Cloud-based storage and physical expansion storage, and more options is always better.

              3. Oh yes, the dongle life again. The stupid excuse of saving space inside when there are flagship Android phones that even have 5000mAh battery and a slimmer and lighter profile than iPhones while retaining the jack all in one. Simple point, it's not that Apple can't do it; they just don't wanna do it, and all for one thing: MONEY.

              4. It can interact nicely with other devices, but then those are quite limited compared to Androids that have broader set of compatibility.

              5. You're right, it CAN'T. Why?? Because that "revolutionary" Lightning Port is so powerful with its VERY NEW USB 2.0 data transfer speeds, which is light years ahead of every Android flagship phones that have USB 3.0 and above speeds. Lol.

              6. It finally can, after YEARS of restriction, Apple finally decided to make accessing internal phone storage files easier without the need to use special software to do so. Apple is so ahead of time indeed!

              7. Perhaps the person may not know much how to use an iPhone, but that's practically also why many people give up on those phones. It takes too much learning just to get a simple thing done, when Androids are readily able to do the same task without much exploration and proprietary accessories needed to do so. Gone are the days of iPhones being much easier to navigate than Androids.

              8. Any smartphone user will always appreciate having the options to do more things even when they don't see the need for them early on. Many people could even treat Android smartphones as mini-laptops or computers because of how many possible functions are available in the Android OS itself, which is again, the entire purpose of a smartphone: TO MAKE LIFE EASIER.

                  I agree 100%.
                  I never use Apple products, but iPad for working. I always use Android phones, simply because those are worth for my money. I would have to buy iPhone when it uses usb-C someday.

                                  It can do photos and videos, i don't see need for others things.

                                  iPhone does backups automaticly every night, no need to worry about files being lost.
