Haha. July??? Why not December then? You can keep your overpriced (1300$ or more) and 0-innovation (three 50mp cameras and only 5x zoom- exactly like last year but this time WITHOUT secondary screen so you can save 1$ on every produced handset).

Rodolf, 23 May 2022Xiaomi is like the jealous kid who wants everything from hi... moreThe effect can already be felt. The Mi 11 Ultra thoroughly trounced the P50 Pro in camera. The collab with Leica will further widen the gulf. If Xiaomi can improve its software, I am afraid it will be game over for your beloved Huawei.

Ill stick to using my little lieca v40-lux camera, decent sized lenses and sensor, real 40x optical zoom + 20 digital zoom, costs very liytle of ebay etc..

huawei is best for camera join with leica

Useless, leica, hasselBAD, carl zeiss... and yet REVIEWERS/YOUTUBERS ALWAYS give the best camera to iphones and samsungs, so the only excuse for these partnerships is to increase the phone price

MasEnha, 23 May 2022But but... From unaffordable become unreachable. Missing th... morethey recently announced that they're raising the prices of their phones/products, shame.

The big question, will xiaomi 12 ultra keep the secondary display like mi 11 ultra has?

MasEnha, 23 May 2022But but... From unaffordable become unreachable. Missing th... moreInstead of fixing their absolutely idi0tic arbitrary updating across billion devices they release every week, they opted to also do pointless partnership with silly meaningless lens manufacturers that literally mean nothing in phones with microscopic lenses. They'll still be rubbish, they'll just cost more and have a fancy lens name written on the back. What the hell were they thinking? I'd even forgive them all the software nonsense as well as structural issues just like I did with their Mi5 because it was cheap. If their "flagship" cost 350€ or 450€ I'd ignore all that and possibly still buy one. Instead they fixed nothing but started charging 1000€ for their phones. It's like they don't even understand the phone market or their customers.

By that photo hint, looks like there is a physical shutter button.

About time. Sony, you're not alone now 😋

Xiaomi is like the jealous kid who wants everything from his banned-from-the-school kid (Huawei).

They should focus on fixing their buggy software first! Make it stable and then think about collaborating with companies.

I remember a certain smartphone brand also collaborated with Leica but had their access to Google Play Services revoked by the US government.

This could be the chapter two, maybe???

Sono, 23 May 2022Companies collaborating with optic giants like Zeiss, Leica... more"power of software"

Yah bro, by making nighttime images look ridiculously artificial, boosting saturation ridiculously and raising the sharpening meter to the extremes after performing intense noise reduction with almost no natural details left in the image. Sure, but I don't want the phone to be deciding how the final image would look like. I want it close to natural as much as possible, and Google and Apple's cameras are everything but natural.

Apparently Ultra will have a dedicated button for taking pictures as Sony's phones. Hope de quality will be further increased because, even without Leica, Huawei has done a great job with P50 Pro.
