Anonymous, 23 May 2022I expect it to record 16k video at that megapixel count SoC does not support beyond 8K.
Megapixel count is not only factor required.

Dometalican, 23 May 2022200MP main, 8MP Ultrawide, and 2MP macros. Mark my words. LolThese companies won't learn. They might as well not give those stupid cameras, atleast it will decrease the cost of the product.

Dometalican, 23 May 2022200MP main, 8MP Ultrawide, and 2MP macros. Mark my words. LolYou are exaggerating ..but it's not gonna be amazing either..It's gonna be 50mp ultrawide (but a small size sensor) and 8mp 2x telephoto..

Tele camera is a wonder, but it would be good without 4x camera with that resolution, only if hi res 4x.
I would put something to go with that 200mp, 50mp quad Bayer would do for uw and tele.

Acorns, 23 May 2022Tbh the camera is not a priority for my personal use (all m... moreMan the screen will be perfect i am sure of it.
But truth is on a 6 inch screen anything above HD plus or FHD or 1024p will looks litterary the same because its just a 6 inch screen and human eyes will not spot any major differences only minor and only people with zero eye sight problems.
In case of 200 or 194mpix Motorola Frontier will use i doubt 128 or 256GB will be enough or SD7XX.
Processing power time to take photo on a such camera and size of a photo willask for at least 512MB or 1TB.

Anonymous, 23 May 2022I expect it to record 16k video at that megapixel count Man one minute of a 16K video would cost 10GB of disk space i dont see that as a relevant.
Anyway on a 6 inch screen even a 16k video will look exactly same like FHD or HD+ thus 1024p.

Dometalican, 23 May 2022200MP main, 8MP Ultrawide, and 2MP macros. Mark my words. LolDoubt it for the ultrawide anyway. Motorola has been giving 13mp, 16mp, and 50mp ultrawides in many of their midrangers. Definitely on average they seem to be giving higher megapixel ultrawides than most other brands at similar price points

AnonD-731363, 23 May 2022As long as there will be an SD card slot and charger in the... moreTbh the camera is not a priority for my personal use (all modern phone cameras seem good enough to me) but I agree about flat screen, just so much more practical and I'd add stereo speakers and at least a 5000+ mah battery. Fhd+ resolution is plenty sharp under 7 inch screen and 30-60 watt fast charge is quick enough if battery is big enough to last at least the whole day without battery anxiety. A Snapdragon 7xx/8xx chip gives enough power (never used a dimensity so can't comment) and I'd say a memory card slot is dependant on how much storage you get with the phone (mines currently 128gig and I have a card slot which I don't need yet) the headphone jack is a bonus for me as my car is not new and has a MP3 player so I can plug my phone in and play it through the car stereo. Having got used to a 120hz screen I wouldn't like to go back to a 60hz as I tried it out to test the difference and just felt so juddery having got used to the higher refresh rate.
So deal breakers now for me are:
No flat screen,
No stereo speakers,
Battery at least 5000mah,
Minimum 33watt charging speed,
Fhd+ along with 120hz refresh rate screen,
Minimum 128gig storage,
Minimum 6/8 gig memory,
Bright screen,
And unlike most folks I prefer IPS LCD screen over amoled.
As for would like but not essential:
Memory card slot,
Headphone jack,
IR blaster (handy but not essential)
Anyways that's my list would be interested to hear what other folks deal breakers and must haves are?

Darknoor, 23 May 2022Xiaomi is not calling dips on the first 200mp camera? Odd.Yeah, I'm also a bit surprised that Xiaomi didn't call dibs. So either Xiaomi or Samsung themselves will be next to use the 200MP sensor after Moto.

Dometalican, 23 May 2022200MP main, 8MP Ultrawide, and 2MP macros. Mark my words. LolThey might go all the way and give it a telemacro like the 11T pro, that macro is proper and a great fun tool.
It will probably be pricy but has the specs to back it up.
