This is one of the most hyped phone brand ever! So BBk electronics mainly focused on Nothing phone ,
OnePlus most successful flagship subbrand from bbk need to change the oneplus oxygen os update policy of 4 years of software support, many midrange samsung devices like (A53 , A73) even provide 5 years of software support.
Also OnePlus need to make updates faster , and concentrate on software experience.

90% of people put on a case anyway so transparent or not. All my phones have cases without screen protectors and no scratches.
