My expectations are always low when I talk to Apple fanboys, but oh boy, I need to lower them even more it seems, lol.

Oh noes, iPhone 7 didn't get 7th major OS update. Lets just ignore the fact it got one more than anyone ever guaranteed (it got 6 instead of 5). Every iPhone since iPhone 4s has received 5 years of major updates. Stop bulls**ting here. ALso cool how you just proclaim how iPhone X generation were just bad phones. I don't know, I'm pretty god damn amazed by my "low end" XR. I actually never had a single Android phone that I wouldn't want to get rid of after 2-3 years. Either because they stopped getting updates or they just ran like dog s**t unless I factory reset them every 3 months and even then they degraded instantly. XR runs as quickly as it did when new and it has bunch of new stuff running that it didn't when it was released. It's a great phone whether you like it or not. lol

11 Pro Max is double the price of Note10 Plus because 11 Pro Max is rightly seen as being worth far more of a premium device than the Note10, the market vote with their wallets and when they buy premium they vote overwhelmingly for Apple. 😌

Your love for Apple makes you blind and ready to defend anything they throw at their customers. I had iPhones in the past and I will probably buy them in the future when they will be better for my needs and not be so money orientated.
But to say, iPhone Xr has speakers better than JBL GO. Did you ever had a JBL Go 3 for example? Please listen to them side by side and tell me that quality wise and power wise are the same. Also, you defend iPhone Xr display saying is very good, but I had Realme or Xiaomi phones with Oled displays that looked better than that. I don't even want to go to Samsung displays, even something like A series has far better displays than something like iPhone Xr.
iPhones below iPhone 12, that aren't Pro model, are useless expensive phones. People should stay away from them and never buy one of them (second hand or new). Definitely not try to defend them. iPhones like 11, Xr, SE (all of them), 8, 7, even models like X or Xs, are bad phones for 2022. Not worth their prices for what they offer (talking about the whole package).
As for the software longevity of the iPhone Xr, look what happened recently with the iPhone 7. Everybody said that it will receive 1 more year. The most optimistic fans thought it will even get IOS 17, lol.
Next year iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X will get the axe from Apple, so no IOS 17 for this models. And the year after that iPhone Xr, Xs, Xs Max will not receive IOS 18. That means 2 more years for iPhone Xr in software updates. I don't know at which optimistic scenario you are thinking about with 5 more years of software updates. But is not gonna happen, lol.

Probably even more because it's one of more popular phones from back then. Just because it doesn't have 5 token cameras, it doesn't make it bad. It still makes really good photos and with NeuralCam app using NeuralEngine, it can even do night photos. Display isn't an issue and speakers are still one of best in the industry because Apple is really good with that too. Not just how loud it is, it actually has proper bass that can easily rival JBL's GO bluetooth speaker. It's a VERY good phone and it's not just because of chipset. But keep comforting yourself how it's outdated lol

My first point was that, the only thing iPhone Xr is on par with a Galaxy Note 10 Plus is performance. In every other way is inferior. But then again, you Apple fanboys clinch to every bit of positive comment or part of a comment you can find.
Performance is nothing in the end, if everything else about that phone is outdated. And don't worry, the iPhone Xr will receive updates for another 2 years maximum, not more like you hope (and you can save this comment for future). The same like the Note 10 Plus. But I rather use a Note 10 Plus in this period than that joke of a phone iPhone Xr.
The second part of my point was that the Note 10 Plus cost half the price of an iPhone 11 Pro Max (in the second hand market). 2 phones directly competitors, from the same year and very much similar.
Now, do you guys understood what I was trying to say, or I need to draw you nice images with colors for better understanding? Lol.

Anything I do on it still opens instantly. And believe me I'm quickly annoyed if something needs time to perform. I also don't have any issues with fact it has single camera only or LCD display. It's all great. So, what I'm suppose to be concerned about again? Chipset speed is what starts to lag behind the most. Galaxy S5 is probably still usable for photos even today, but its chipset is probably horrendously slow. That's why chipset matters quite a lot.
