Samsung Australia fined AUD 14M over misleading water resistance ads

The lawsuit was filed by The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) back in 2019.

I used to own several phones that can't even resist raindrops, let alone water splashes. That is why I'll try to use a cover if I happen to bring my phone to watery conditions. I don't see the need to dunk it underwater, but it's nice to have some protection.

Or playing/watching videos while on the bathroom. And no I didn't even experience those moistures on the camera.
                                      What I've been doing after my iphone submerged into the water. Is first turn it off and then rise it with tap water. Especially the port side. I use a micro fibre cloth to dry my iphone. Then use a cotton swab to absorb the water on the speakers. Then I use a cotton to absorb the water from the charging port. Simple as that.
