Doing a strong mid ranger is what they should do. And not spawn 55 variants of it like everyone else. This Desire 22 Pro doesn't look bad, but the chipset is really disappointing. If it was SD778+ or SD870, I could still be on board and still kinda accept the "Pro" moniker, with the price they are asking. But SD695, not so much. LCD doesn't even bother me that much as it can still be really good. And with unknown software support which was pretty bad back in the day and I don't think HTC has improved it at all since.

Whenever a service or product is not bringing them the profit they want (even though the fans wants them to some extent), they will rapidly cancel those products or services.
Even though it may look like a good business strategy, it looks that they don't care too much about their fans opinions.

Good on you HTC for hanging in their. I've loved some of your models previously. All the best with the 22. The chipset is actually pretty capable, and even better than the One A9 series which was good at the time. I hope you make solid revenue in your business to bring back something to market that's class classic

13 mini is flop as well. Because of its size.
Even worse when 13, 13 Pro Max and 13 Pro are best selling phones of 2022. Mini is not even top 20.

HTC still have a chance to become a true Player in the market but every time. Viveverse is same old story of Facebook phone, which was a big failure. HTC still have what other company is looking for (Loyal Customers). But unfortunately HTC let them down.
