Neither the "22" number justifies the upgrade, nor there is anything "Pro" about this phone. HTC is clearly finding shortcuts to exit the market.

When everyone is competing to get the best phone, HTC Desire 22pro is coming up with an old design and poor configuration, just a name device, HTC will not be successful again. If you want to survive in this market, you have to bring a unique device and a good quality phone.

5c and priced close to 5s. No finger scanner, older CPU, plastic back, plastic frame.
5s was far better phone.

While I understand a number of complaina and even about the headphone port. In honesty... mostly just to compare to other $400 phones from regular brands like Samsung, Sony, etc it's not terrible. And has fast wireless charging. Something not as easy to find on a device if the price.
Yes other markets and brands that target specs but not the norm. And the only reason the iPhone se does is because it's modeled off the body of the 8.... which was also the first iphone to incorporate it years after other phones did.

And still released the phone for less money with less issues and dramatically better hardware and software support??
The razr was a $1500 phone with $400 phone specs and the software support of a $100-$400 phone. Ironed out most issues??? Don't make me laugh. Buggy as hell, barely compatible with other networks. Esim that is a huge pain to work with. Worse battery life with supposedly more efficient chip. Much lesser hardware and features. Better than dex? Get real

Not only is really expensive, its almost on the level of the Xperia 10 IV, but even the Xperia has the 3.5mm jack, and OIS on its main sensor.
This device is dead, and so is HTC. I have no more hopes from them and one wonders which will die first: HTC or HMD

They don't produce flexible displays, they order them from another manufacturer. A larger display is not a proof of innovation, just a different attitude. And the rest of Razr? Poor, very poor.
And yes, Motorola is a cheap brand these days. Just a generic Chinese producer, nothing more. Of this year's phones just one, maybe two worth of interest, and then twenty cheap craps worth literally nothing.

I do wish HTC goes back to the smartphone game. They've had great designs that I previously loved. With LG out of the smartphone business, the market needs another competitor so we just don't get the same old Apple Samsung or Chinese phones flooding the marketplace
