    Sony has been always one of my top five companies when it comes to smartphones. Whenever they introduce a phone they introduce something worlds first as well. And then like Apple their marketing is factual.

    While their sales are on the lowest side, they have a fan base now, targeting those people who are professionals. Thus making money out of their smartphones as well. Because they were losing money until 2018.

        You must been artificaly made if you see a differences on screen on a 6 inch display to me is exactly same.
        But good luck paying much more money on something which have no differences.
        I bet if they some day make a phone capable 8K screen and resolution but it will be size of Iphone 4 you will buy it because genius will say its sceen is a lot better.
        Yes it could be on a paper not in real life use.
        But not very clever people like you still bragging for something which have zero value and make no real life differences.

          Xperia users tend to be more smart than your average Joe, because they mostly buy smartphones based on research.

            Se 2022 cost 600 for an 2016 model with 4GB ram tiny battery and very low not expandable disk space. Just saying.
            Quality aside is made in china.

                None of them ever thinking of buying xperias.
                So, sony xperia is not premium, even in europe.

                  The audio is exceptionally good through usb c earphones.

I love(d ?) Sony, but their pricing/asking for what they offering is bleak. And weaker than what offer Samsung (OS upgrades and OneUI, which is kinda good).

At a screen brightness level of the Galaxy S4 or S5 depending on the recent $1400-$2500 models you have. Along with lack of availability, weaker batteries, speakers, and cameras.
                          I despise what samsung and others have become. But Sony is doing worse. And that's including the fact they still have 3.5 and that's one of the things I miss.

                            Look at the $2500 pro and $1800 1 iii with smaller batteries.

                            The 10 iv is a cheaper model. And samsunf did the same thing. Cheaper a models have 5000mah.
                            I don't agree with it but Sony is doing exact same thing.
                            However you are picking and choosing details to create a false point.

                            And the 10 iv is taller and thicker than the 22 with smaller camera too.

                              [deleted post]It doesn't blow the ultra out the water. In the circumstances you have a 4k video a few people will see a little difference. Thats it.
                              The ultra is also 3.5k so not as huge a difference of pixels as most think.
                              If any of them blows one or the other out of the water its the ultra with nearly literally double the brightness

                                Their pricing was never competitive though yes got much worse 2017 ish.
                                And they had a couple models with good battery but were typically never leading.
                                Their optimizing has never been a thing. Its literally an exaggerated made up fan claim

                                        Anyway, reading his post I don’t think he was referring to Sony in general, but rather the Xperia line specifically.

                                        Now whether they are regarded as ‘premium‘ or not I for one cannot say, Xperia’s tend to be on the pricier side here in the UK, but they also are not very popular here at all.

                                        Oh and this ain’t me having a dig at Sony or the Xperia line before you go making baseless accusations like you seem to like to do. More me just trying to help you out with the linguistic nuances as I have leaned you have some degree of trouble with.
