Kuo: only the iPhone 15 Pro Max is getting a periscope lens

Previously, it was assumed that both Pro phones will get the longer lens. However, that may not happen until 2024.

    This is Apple. Be sure 6 is not from the main camera, but from super wide.
    So 6 x 13 = 78mm.

        My 10x can do 100x. Iphone's 3x can do 15x. So their 6x will be able to do 30x. That's less than a third of my maximum zoom.

          Answer is no btw, every OS has them.

          2. It was explained multiple times why 120hz on iOS feels different, but in short the OS itself is at fault because it already feels smooth at 60hz, the moment you go into a non Apple made app you do feel the same difference as on Android (and I have both iOS and Android phones, can confirm)

          3. I prefer Google Keyboard, iOS one sucks.
          Also there is no reason to complain about iOS keyboard, you can download a third party one and use it system wide (can confirm that too, I never use stock keyboard on Android either)

                I'd love it if we had dedicated 10x, 30x, 50x and 100x cameras.
                Very useful.
                So much wildlife I can't approach but can now take pictures of.
                Also, love reading signs from far away. Saves me taking a trip to see when a store is open or whether I have to pay for parking.
                Not to mention the spying I can do lol.

                        -IOS 15 was full of bugs when it came out.
                        -It took Apple more than 3 years to implement 120 Hz screens and 120 Hz on iPhones is horribly implemented and doesn't feel like 120 Hz at all, with the phone barely ever being in 120 Hz mode.
                        -iPhones still don't have a bloody numbers row on the keyboard for crying out loud!

That’s propably why Apple will keep it ”only” 6x

Oh and updates that are stuck in Beta IF they ever come along.

                                Its all about preferences in focal length. I for one prefer x2~x3.5 zoom (50-90mm) over x10 zoom, anyday.

                                Right now at the moment, Xperia 1iv telephoto are the best to my eyes & closest option, optically moving lens from x3.5 to x5.2. You can even get better natural depth of field from it (without portrait mode), because its a 40mp 1/1.5" sensor size used, but later using a cropped lens resulting in smaller pixel size, resolution, to save spaces. Brilliant tech. Its the 'best' u can get from a phone telephoto camera as of today.

                                  Updates: to do what? Every new iOS update brings nothing new to the table. IOS is still a decade behind Android.

                                    ended copying samsung because running out of idea.

                                    No more "reinnovate" reason because S22 Ultra already reinnovate it, photos from S22U periscope are very sharp than most phone

                                        iPhone users who want smaller phone but great all round cameras would either have to buy last gen iPhone or go with a android phone.

                                        Some iPhone users which i have talked have said that when Galaxy Flip line gets telephoto camera(in addition to regular and ultrawide) they will buy that.

                                        One actually bought Flip 3 last year and she have been very happy with it compared to her last iPhone.

                                        Apple is counting on that iPhone users would not switch to android and would instead buy worse iPhone or go with biggest iPhone.
