Kuo: only the iPhone 15 Pro Max is getting a periscope lens

Previously, it was assumed that both Pro phones will get the longer lens. However, that may not happen until 2024.

This is one of the many reasons to skip the iPhone 14 and just get the iPhone 15.
Besides the the iPhone 14 doesn't look like a major upgrade neither does the Max version

    It's only a rumor, but that won't stop the inevitable 'My (insert name of Android here) already has (insert apparently life altering spec point here)....' shrieking that no doubt will follow.......

    Whilst, if this turn's out to be true in any event, I wouldn't say a return to differentiating the camera tech between the standard and Max versions of the Pro will be a move I will welcome. I don't think the inclusion of a periscope lens on either is something that needs to happen. Cool if it does, so what if it doesn't.

    For one thing, iPhone users are not crying out for it as evidenced by the lack of them switching to one of the Androids that may feature it. And second, Periscope cameras have been introduced and subsequently dropped on many of those android lines, which tells me those oems have themselves learned it's not all that of a necessary feature 🤷‍♂️

      If the stupid moral of iphone = trendy and wealthy did not exist, the iphone would have been either long dead or wouldn't have been an exact copy every year with features removed.

        Sony Xperia 5 III is 6.1 in and has the same periscope telephoto Lenz as 1 III! 🤷‍♂️

          So in a year and half it'll have half the zoom my S22 Ultra has now LoL

                  Don't care about phone camera. What I care is performance, OS update and support.
