People already buy a phone to last no less than 2 years, I know people who have had the same phone for more than 4 years, People with money! To this we must also add the inflation that exists in the world, among other things! the 0 innovation etc etc... Says someone who changed his cell phone every 3 months, now the least I have the same phone is 8 months, yes, it's time for a change! but there is nothing that catches my attention at the moment

Can we expect cheaper retail price since now we have oversupply issues? That always works in the world of cars.

No innovation or improvement in smartphones whatsoever since 2019. Brands should be more responsible for their own actions instead of their useless excuses

" Wow. So suddenly there is no component shortage and supply chains are working to efficiently (oversupply). /S
That how it looks when people buy every word that is pushed down in their throats by manufacturers / PR's etc."

Well said...1000 points. I don't know why tech journalists repeat the same points. Will they be boycotted by canalys and counter point if they don't? Or are they too dumb and believe what they say, or they simply love the smartphone market so much that they propagate the same bullshit?

I mean one can report and talk about tech, without being blindly in love with it.

And, by the way, where are all the praised and perfect Oppos, Vivos, ultra Xiaomis and many other "iPhonekillerphones"? And where is the allmighty Sony, the only one producing phones that people really want?
                Laughing in your face.

so chinese companies produce boring and ruin phones and now it's inflation's blame, most are the same shit ,no innovation at all,a lot of rebranded phones ,a lot suffer from overheating ,poor software updates, bad software on cameras ,and when you by this trash you help putin and ccp to rule the word making genocide.

The other two are Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Xiaomi Redmi 9, which are also sub-$200 smartphones. It does show that most average consumers just don't care about flagships or midranges. They just want something that simply works.
