Netflix explains how it will stop the widespread account sharing

I'm from India guys and Netflix is already very expensive here compared to other services.
Going by an exchange rate of 80INR = $1 , Disney+ and PrimeVideo costs 1499INR or $18.73 for one year (includes 4k and multiple device support) , whereas Netflix 4k plan costs 649INR for one month , so that's 7788INR or $97.35
That's a huge difference in price compared to other services.
They don't even offer an yearly plan at a discounted price which is a lost opportunity in my opinion.
Most of the people who buy Netflix subscription here contribute money and get it. Charging extra from people like these would literally kill Netflix in India.
It is actually cheaper getting a VPN subscription and using torrent websites than getting all these subscriptions.
For now , I'm personally subscribed to Netflix , Disney+ and PrimeVideo.
But if this new policy comes to India eventually , I'll surely unsubscribe as I hardly ever use Netflix nowadays as there's nothing new exciting to watch.
And watch now how Netflix's user base will shrink within the next one year and how its stock will go down if they bring this policy into effect.

Well they are already charging us a lot for crappy shows so thanks to netflix for letting us know in advance that we should cancel the sub and switch...

When Netflix was popular it had huge catalogue of old movies, but now most have seeing what they wanted to see. So now it's all about original content and in that Netflix just can't keep up with competition, also some services offer new cinema movies almost monthly, for example disney+ now offer doctor strange. Netlix just don't have the money and muscles to compete in long term and they will keep losing users slowly.

Well how many people have to watch with the same account? Try watching a movie in a theater and see what the prices are. If someone wants free stuff, there's always YouTube.

They will not get far with all the new streaming apps coming out everyday. + VPNs getting better every day. When I first opened my NETFLIX account at the beggining of the month the basic rate was 10$. A week later when I was setting up my phone to use it I accidentally clicked upgrade. Within the same 5 minutes a rep. I spoke with told me no problem your account is still basic and you will not be charged for premium service.
Cool, I started watching. 8 days before the month ended Nutflix charged me again 10$ The explanation from each person I spoke with basically said, " you downgraded to basic, so that us the basic rate."
Netflix charged me the basic rate twice 10$ + 10$ withing 22 days.
I closed my account and demanded a refund.

How is this solving anything ? So if you set it at home then you need more accounts for your self to see the content outside of your home too. It's not as you only watch the content at home on your big screen. You also do it on your phone or tablet when your not home. So for that you need multiple accounts. Never mind that you also need multiple accounts for every member of your family as all have multiple devices too.
Never mind that Netflix went woke and now try to climb out of the woke hole they dig deep. And it does not help them as they just come out with Resident Evil tv show that is totally woke and really bad. Well i have watched few reviews of it as i dont have any of the subscriptions for any platform. I am not willing to pay for them and especially cause i am in East-Europe where i have access like half of there content while need to pay the full price of the subscription that is a bit more expensive then in US too cause of the currency difference and well cause of the half of the content too i need to pay 2 times the price. I watch all my shows and movies trough TorrentTV or web sites like fbox and the like that dont ask me to have account to see the content and also have these screeners version in there but if i wait a bit i see them in same quality like dvd bluray and so on.
I am not supporting any of them as they groom the message of minorities and before release call me all the nasty words all the minorities are calling like ist and phob and so on

That's what most people with actual brains do. Only subscribe to the streaming service where you'll watch your lined up show/movie then switch to a different one, then switch, depending on what you want to watch. It's not complicated.
