Isnt it what they are already doing?
Having multiple screens on premium subscribtion.

When will they understand what people want?

There should be some app which will connect all those stupid streaming companies like Hulu, Netflix, Disney, HBO etc.
Where we pay some monthly fine but we will be able to have all premium services of all streaming companies.
Othervise mounting a satelite on a backyard and hacking via internet satelite such as Europa 1 and 2, Astra 1 and 2 and several others which allows TV channels and support is the cheapest option for having like 5000+ different TV channels and for free.

This was once Netflix entire business model to entice users, now it’s overpriced with very little content of its own anyway, consider me unsubscribed going forward

Netflix is rubbish we used to have it but not no more.

Hotstar, PrimeVideo are value for money. But most of these guys are looting them too. Only solution can be ad-supported OTTs

            Thank you for the reply

I have never bought Netflix subscription but it's their right to enforce their platform the way its intended to be used. However, still giving the base tier plan at 480p is shame when event the cheap smartphones come with 1080p display. Their monthly 4k plan costs about 5 times the cost of Amazon Prime Membership and Disney+ in India. The lowest quality plan available on Hotstar is 1080p.

Even their 480p plan is twice the price of 1080p plan of hotstar. That's after when it's involved in latest video codec development like AV1. I think the server cost is quite less compared to cost of the woke content they serve on their platform, so cheaping out on video quality is bad move.

People have to have some kinda SHAME to use a single subscription on multiple households. This is nothing but piracy. And commenting on Netflix, only because they found a way to stop looting...

So stupid when they can't even have 4k 1 user package or 1080p 1 user pack. So I want to view it alone, I have to watch it in 720p or paid 2/4 screens for 1080p/4k.

Netflix is force people to share vy doing this and now they have problem with it. Suck it.

Alternative headline: "Netflix explains how it plans to migrate all the account sharers to Pirate Bay".

No one wants to have 10 different subscriptions, Hulu, Disney, Prime, Netflix, etc... The value proposition is already distroyed by all top shows leaving for their own network, and now they want to reduce the value even more. Will be a bit torrent renaissance.

I feel like with what's been going on this year, Netflix should create a documentary series about itself tilted "Dying a Dick"

Netflix is hell bent on killing their own service. We'll see where this gets them.

I stopped using Netflix because content selection in Europe is pathetic. It's also weird how they were actively encouraging everyone to share their accounts with friends and family in the beginning and now they are cracking down on it? Totally a way to retain and attract new users...

Dont see how it will prevent non house holders that are sharing to enter the same address as the owner? Spotify tried this and it doesn;t work

they should concentrate on getting better content 1st... before this lockdown of account sharing issue. people will just cancel or not bother getting it.

There are only a few series worth watching. After that, Netflix is boring.
