          No, its not just qualcomm, but a whole bunch of chips made on tsmc nodes that are better than the ones made on samsung nodes. Why is it so hard for you to grasp?

                    You could only compare fab quality if Qualcomm actually made identical SD 8 Gen1 on TSMC and Samsung node. But there is no such thing, so you can't compare the chips when they aren't even the same. You can only compare them as "this is better performing chip". And that's it. Without any "it's because TSMC this and TSMC that". That's irrelevant and not applicable. Jesus you're thick.

It's a meaningless statement because TSMC doesn't care if it's ARM, RISC or x86. They are a fab, not chip designer, yet you keep saying like they make better ARM cores or design better ARM chips. They don't design ANYTHING.

By competing samsung chips i meant all the chips made on samsung nodes, including 888, gen 1, exynos and tensor chips. They arent completely different chips at all. They have the same cores and gpu, designed by the same company, follow the same instruction set, are used in the same product space, but sure, keep going with the whole 'blueprint' thing.

TSMC just gave them additional mild edge on top of their excellent chip design because of more advanced fab node. This is why I say you have no clue because you're talking absolute nonsense every time you post pretty much anything, because you don't understand basics and you're just confusing everything with everything. TSMC doesn't design chips, they fab them. Qualcomm designs them. LEARN THE FRIGGING BASICS.

And if you stubbornly refuse to learn on your own, you'll just never understand it. Start learning with what a transistor gate even is, its physical form which is the most basic building block of every processor in same way atom is a basic building block of everything around us.

                                    Just because someone is using same core design, the chip fabrication underneath (the physical transistors) is not the same. Which is why Samsung can manufacture same core design as TSMC (lets say ARM Cortex A78), but they can't do it using same core design blueprint because fabrication process, the transistors layout is different because they are using different transistors gate design which means it's physically a different transistor. It's like trying to make a LEGO Technic build using LEGO System blocks (or vice versa) if you will.

                                    Or better example, take Ford Focus car as an example. It's a car just like Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic, but if you bring blueprints for Ford Focus to Toyota or Honda, they can't make it "just like that". They'd have to either adapt their manufacturing process to the blueprints or do it in reverse, adapt the design blueprints to their manufacturing, effectively altering the entire design of the product and making a DIFFERENT product. It would still be a car, just not the same Ford Focus as when it is made by Ford. That's SD 8+ Gen1 compared to SD 8 Gen1. The moment Qualcomm moved manufacturing of their SD chip to TSMC, they had to entirely redesign their chip in order to fit into TSMC's manufacturing process (because TSMC can't adapt to the design because they use different transistor gates entirely compared to Samsung). Which brings us back to my first paragraph. Learn the basics.

Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 are two ENTIRELY different chips. It's not just TSMC doing it's magic allowing it be better SD 8 Gen1. It's a DIFFERENT FRIGGING CHIP ENTIRELY.
