    Now we know when xiaomi will launch the new flagship series

      i hope the chip wont be manufactured by samsung. they are bad

        I really hope Qualcomm focuses on reducing power consumption in the SD8G2 (while keeping performance similar or slightly higher than SD8+G1) rather than extracting maximum performance at the same power (or god forbid even more power!)

        Also will be interesting to see what tsmc node is used... will it be the N4 (currently being used for SD8+G1 and Dimensity 9000) or the N4P node (which will be used in the upcoming Bionic A16). Expecting it to be the latter, but since it will be competing with Apple for wafers, availability might be an issue in the initial stages.

        On a different note, really wish Qualcomm gives some attention to SD7 series as well... SD7G1 is now feeling like a paper launch and it is high time we had a proper successor to the SD778G.... hopefully fabbed on the tsmc N4 node.

Just company one upping each other in the corporate rat race, hoping to get some shekels from the consumer rat race. There's no pleasure or contentment in buying a phone today knowing it has a lifespan of 6 months and is obsolete from the factory. Just garbage. All garbage.

              Let me guess.

              Xiaomi and Motorola will be announcing phones with this SoC couple days before Xmas.
              So in july-aug/23 both can make unnecessary devices with 8+g2 that are not 5% better than phones from december.

                "Latest and greatest", Don't know what to do with the performance.. the heat is getting higher not lower. Is this 2 gen CPU for 12K recording? We're not ready for this yet.
