Qualcomm all but confirms that the Galaxy S23 series will use only Snapdragon chips

28 July 2022
This could extend to future series too, as Samsung is reorganizing the Exynos division and (allegedly) trying to build a better chipset from scratch.

Nice. Unless Samsung screws up something, I'll be getting one of Galaxy S23 flavors. Well, I also hope Qualcomm won't make a mess of weird core configuration that's rumored for Gen2...

So we have to wait until 2025 for Exynos again and also it's not sure whether it will perform on par with snapdragon as Snapdragon will also use NUVIA from 2025.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2022Finally. I love Snapdragon. Even if it is more expensive it... moreMarkets that get snapdragon variant, ppl pay lower price compared to markets that earn exynos.

I feel sorry for all those that had illusion Samsung/AMD partnership for exynos GPU would put Adreno to shame.
Now at least some guys on twitter no need to pretend exynos is gonna be above snapdragon. Never was. 7420 had even worse issues than 810.

        Google ➡️ " s6 edge overheating".

Pop up message to say phone would turn off because of heat. None of the devices with 810 do it.

I'll believe it when I see it.... Samsung like crapping on Europe when it comes to soc.
I'm sure they will find other ways to screw us.

Finally. I love Snapdragon. Even if it is more expensive it is worth it. No to Exynos. No to MediaTek.
