I hope they make the lite version a compact phone with the same processor and no Glyph gimmick. The market is plagued with huge sized phones.

Those are reasonable cuts, especially if the battery rumor is true.

Patrik, 02 Aug 2022Snapdragon 695 5G is a powerful as Snapdragon 750G. It runs... moreyes i know its powerful as 750g but in terms of camera quality... its crappier than xiaomi redmi note 11. no matter how good the sensor they would use, the chipset was ready to ruin its quality. also no 60fps recording. no 4k recording either. also the chipset are only capable of 90hz display (720p only). they cant do HFR gaming. only for scrolling social media in 60fps lmao

The only thing special about it was the back light, without it, it is nothing.
The lite version would be even more pointless than the main thing.

Well any clever guy buy a case idealy leather book case so back panel will be protected.
Led xmas tree lights arent an issue.

Anonymous , 02 Aug 2022It's not bbk it the nothing themselves No, it's the whole group's brand policy. More and more waste of all-the-same-just-renamed models. But don't worry, Xiaomi should be next.

So there will be SOME INDICATORS that it won't have a glyph back? Truly illuminating I must say.

Next they'll do a pro version with Flagship processor and RGB Glyph lights or something and say "ya we heard you and we used a flagship processor".
in my opinion, they won't call it a lite when it has no lights on the back. Maybe SE/FE/CE/something.

Lite/compact/mini should only mean smaller size/screen/battery, but keep the rest of the hardware from the top model.
But sadly lite/compact/mini only means low-end hardware and high-end price.

Nothing phone without the LED gimmicks is just… an overpriced Android phone. I guess the pressure to gain more revenue is too much? If Nothing were so confident with their brand, they shouldn’t even do a lite phone. Stick with the one model and work more in expanding the ecosystem instead (eg more wearables).
