NickValok, 02 Aug 2022What's the advantage of Nothing Phone (1) over other m... moreTHE PRICE... People keep missing the point against their protest over the hype. When you go through the specs sheet you would find little to no compromises with even the very basic internals. It has all the sensors, and the storage and RAM used are of the flagship qualities. Even the haptics are very nice on this phone. The processor is top-notch, and the real-life usage has little to complain about. What else does one need at that price point?

What's the advantage of Nothing Phone (1) over other mid-range smartphones was the wireless charging and LED interface on the back, but what's the advantage of this phone if you remove these advantages? A common Dual Camera, a 120Hz display with multiple issues, and a boring snapdragon 778g+?
It is Nothing

Nowadays even lite version have 6.5" + display, which is not lite at all (in terms of size). Let's hope this lite version have smaller screen.

"Despite still supporting 33W charging, the "lite" model would ship with a 42W charger in the box, according to the same source."
Probably they've realised that it's a deal breaker for most of people not having a charger in the box good move, but 33W slow charger it's still a deal breaker. 65W it's a minimum in 2022. Long are the days of charging a phone for 1h - 1h:30min. I personally wouldn't buy a slow charging phone no matter how good the specs are. The reason I didn't like pixel 6 pro, galaxy S22, iPhone 13 pro together with the twin sister Nothing phones 1. But hey they're plenty to choose from in the Android world & I got my eyes on BBK fast charging technology so cool & color OS is decent enough but Pure Android on pexel & Nothing would have been better, but the slow charging it's definitely a non starter maybe in the future if they upgrade their charging. 33W to 45W keep on going I'm waiting when you reach 65W I might consider buying & recommending

The Nothing Phone has failed to generate the kind of hype they were initially anticipating... This Nothing Phone 1 is a mid-range device at best... A "lite" version will probably be an entry level model (probably snapdragon 680 or 695 ) with a mid-range price...
