It will upload / download faster than your slots.
It will protect your data from phone loss, and if RAID protect from data loss.
It will auto backup your photos and clear the space when your home.
It can run media upload, download, transcoding, processing by itself.
You can even send link, share files and receive files from others.. without even needing to be next to each other to do slow BT transfer (ROFL).. you can even prevent transfer of viruses.. both human and computer.

And freedom to use any phones, so you do not need to rant on any comments.

PhoneFreak45, 02 Aug 2022Dumb kids like me apparently then because I've got 244... moreAnd? It means something for the manufacturers, when most people don't need it? Apple never had expandable storage and it is still number two in the world. So why do kids still cry how the manufacturers must give microSD slot into every phone, if people in fact don't need it?
And, what's worse, saying that lower QoQ sales are because of this, when the Q2 sales are always lower than Q1 for at least 20 years?

Chinese phones are now offering better specs for the same prices compared to Samsung and Apple, so I'm not surprised to see the western corporations pour millions of dollars into attempting to convince people software updates are the new messiah, because they cannot really seem to compete on a hardware level. There are a few exceptions however, like the Galaxy A52s and the Xperia 10 IV, that are great for many people in my opinion.

I don't see any reasons to buy new phone this year, because my A51 from 2019 will get another Android upgrade next year (Android 13/ One UI 5).

blue, 02 Aug 2022Don't lie. Apple always has strongest end of the year.... moreThe world needs more people like you man. Way to go. Let me tell you something. Every person I know who has bought those overpriced iPhones has bought charger separately. Apple should be given some sort of a medal for their achievements in devising ways to rip their customers off. Here's the list of their glorious achievements:

First company to remove headphone jack

Nowadays phone manufacturers aren't include the charger in the box bcz of cosr cutting and can save space for shipment in containers, but if they give better optimized battery or good standard battery then that is much much enough for user instead of introducing 33w , 64w or 100w chargers.
Why phone manufacturers aren't consider to develop the good battery for their phones.
(Li-ion) battery development is much better than (Li-po) battery.

rizki1, 03 Aug 2022how cool is Realme, a brand that usually makes cheap phones... moreThat means Europeans are going poorer and poorer. A few years back we could never image Europeans opting for anything other than the best. But the balance of the world is slowly changing back to normal after the europe's colonialism. West has gained a lot from plunder in Asia and free labor from Africa. All that has vanished now, and they are slowly going back to were they truly belong.

                    Peter,

Analysts always end news like this on a positive note. I doubt the bottom has been reached. Not just tin europe but everywhere.

how cool is Realme, a brand that usually makes cheap phones can be the highest YoY there.

And LG didn't go under because of that. Their lack of profit wasn't because of the pricing, it was from too much money going to R&D. If LG could do it then, any company can do it now. Especially the likes of Samsung and Apple who have a lot of resources at their disposal.

PhoneFreak45, 02 Aug 2022I bought my LG V60 ThinQ 5G used for 175$. You were saying? You name a very specific exception to the rule, too specific.

Mind you I had a LG before my current phone too, my G8S was €360 brand new in 2019 and that was by then miles away best phone for the money.

But still a very specific exception to the rule though.

Chinese brands were fun when they were cheap, but the moment brands like Xiaomi and Oppo started to ask too high prices, that benefit went down the drain.

No wonder Samsung and Apple is winning when USA blamed Huawei for something which never come true and Huawei left it be also the China government which could use same meter for US company Apple but they didnt.
Still compared to Huawei Samsing and Apple doesnt offer as decent and price friendly devices as Huawei did nor their cameras are close by.

vrvly, 02 Aug 2022Less Chinese flagships in EU means more happy Samsung, Appl... moreActually in Eu,people have more Chinese flagships than ever with Oppo and Vivo entering the market.

The issue is indeed the pricing. Almost everyone nowadays(Realme soon) charges 900 and 1000+ for their flagship, which is Apple/Samsung territory.
