[deleted post]Auto moderation (the blue moderation message when you send a post) is just straight up weird and I don't know who's the genius who designed it because I've had cases where I retried to post a modified message and I had to strip out literally all relevant information on the topic, like mentioning brand names, device names, OS type etc and then the message miraculously went through without problem, literally carrying zero information of value. Ugh. And way how things are manually moderated and flagged is just straight up bizarre. It seems like reporting something enough times automatically removes it or something without real human vetting it. It's really weird sometimes.

Nothing works 100% of the time

Mask are no problem anymore, works now great with mask if you have new enough face Id tech, have had zero problems, but now no need to use mask anymore and i really hope it stays like that. What are these other special conditions? I have never had any other problems than when masks came, but finally Apple were able to fix even that and now face ID is just so much ahead.
Also fingerprint scanners doesn’t work with gloves, many need to wear gloves etc in winter and also at the work, so they both have their problems. Still in everyday use i find Face ID lot more intuitive and effortless to use. When i open for example my bank app or whatsapp, i just open them even when they are locked.

Out of hundreds of millions of users of FaceID, your face is so special that FaceID literally couldn't work with it, 100% of the time. I understand phones having issues with JerryRigEverything fingers because his fingerprints are ruined from work, but your justification is absolutely made up. Unless, you really were mauled by a bear. But then you should say so... or you just didn't ever actually use FaceID and you're just making it up entirely. Which wouldn't surprise me either. The amount of nonsense people say about iPhones and they never even used them. Or they claim they have but they really borrowed it from a friend for 10 minutes and poking it for a bit...

P.S. Every.Single.Company. operating in Ch!na has to keep their doors, wallets and topsy krets open to the party and serve at the party's beck and call. All foreign entities manufacturing in Ch!na need to transfer tech to local entities, that's why Fruit, M$ and Googlefly, et al only "assemble" hardware in there from core parts shipped in from elsewhere and do not fully "manufacture" or use Ch!nese chips (they get it manufactured from TSMC in that country I cannot name over here or get banned) in their products, which can then open them up to all kinds of hardware-software maladies.
Similarly, Huawei is another arm of the government, it's got a longer reach and touches more entities than 95% of other Ch!nese companies, but it is at the end of the day a party entity and acts in the party's interests. Don't spread spiel, just ask MAchael JACKson how the party operates when someone tries to act like some independent entity in the grorious motherrand.

The correct answer is: They don’t give other options because they don’t want people associate them with Android phones, for using similar methods of unlocking.
iPhones with home button feel a lot easier and nicer for me (iPhone 8, SE2, 3). The only problem with this phones is that they look outdated and have very bad batteries. But from unlocking the phone point of view, they are much nicer than the sh*tty Face ID (which didn’t work 100% of times for me).

G, 12 Aug 2022First good phone i bought was HTC touch pro 2 back in 2009,... morei can afford any iphone or every other apple product, but i wont do that, so much wasting money, i keep stay on pocophone f series which is very good value for money, and yes i am on third world country too

Apple's growth is driven by both nations' willingness to overpay for their telecom needs via subsidies.
54% of iPhone sales come from the US alone; subsidies aren't going anywhere as long as people prioritize want over need.

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2022P and Mate series could never sell as much as Samsung S ser... moreThe reason is that Huawei phones easily outlast phones from other brands and they are technologically ahead by 3 years, so no point changing phones frequently for Huawei users.
I still see many with Huawei phones though. Some switched to iPhones due to the ban but they will come back when Harmony OS is rolled out and more apps are in.
