Why the hell they don't get the fingerprint sensor back. I want to see how they will fix the scanner when they must get rid of any holes on the front. This way iPhone is a loser for me.

We jus... moreI've ditched all the contract nonsense because it's cancerous for the consumer and all the providers were always a total rip off. With all the bonuses, cost of device was the same as just buying one without contract from open market, only benefit you lose is interest free monthly payment for it. I just cash it anyways. I'm now on low cost (but not less reliable) provider which gives me so much calls and SMS I can't ever use it up and I get 70GB of data plan for just 9,99€. I could go fancy and take the higher 100GB plan for 2€ more, but I don't really need it. For additional 2€ I could tap into 5G network, but I don't have device with it anyways. And it's all optional. I can flip between their plans monthly, I can flip optional features on and off monthly and I can leave them at any time. Not that I'd want to. Top notch service that gives me total freedom.

jason, 12 Aug 2022why does apple need to bank on others failing??? android is... moreFirst good phone i bought was HTC touch pro 2 back in 2009, it looked awsome, sliding keyboard and what not...... but it lagged....lagged and lagged. And all my college classmates had iphone 3g. i didnt understand what was up with that. But i saw them with many pages of apps. it was like a fashion. and i really didnt like that ovely design of iphone 3gs, fast forward a year n half later iphone 4 came out...and i liked the design, and jumped in. Man that experience changed my whole perception of effectiveness of touchscreen and speed in a phone. however i type on the keyboard, there was just never a mistake. whatever alphabet i intended to write, and it was that one, never rebooted, it just worked. next years upgraded to iphone 4s. i was studying in uk then, but in 2012 i came back to my 3rd world country unfortunately, and in my country only the richest can afford an iphone, literally.
i used that phone till 2015 flawleslly but then i updraged to ios 9 and thats when the bad experience started. it was not the same phone after that. slow and lagging. That time i ugraded to samsung note 4. it was new, and again an amazing experince speed wise and every other things wise. i really enjoyed the s pen, made millions of notes. i still use it as a music player when i am exercising. because by now the battery is like few hours. camera is just ok.
Now i have a redmi stupid phone.. oh man and i hate it. its like that touch pro 2. so many mistakes on keyboard, there is no proximity sensor, screen keeps turning on and off during calls, unintentional touches bla bla
I will take an iphone any day over any other phone, but i cant afford it. the recent 13 series is like 300000 in my currency. while the redmi is 35000. even an older iphone 8 is above 100k .
But here is my take on apple, when apple designs something, its 100% of that something. there is no half baked features or things with apple, they are the best at what they do. i was angry at apple notch while other brands were underdisplay cameras, but now i understand that sensors up above are more important than esthetics. the reason they didnt removed the notch is because everything in there is important and works. and thats why billions buy it. i watch a lot of tv. apple speed better than anyother phone, apps crashing and stuff, better than any other phone or system, cameras.. better than any other... there is a video on youtube where the guy is droping the iphone 13promax multiple times from ceiling to hard cement floor and it didnt break, while there is another video of a guy droping the recent samsung note ultra from pocket and the glass broke.
i still have the iphone 4s from 2010. the back glass and the front screen are intact. i also have the note 4 from 2015, a year in screen broke even with a glass protector on it, and it kept breaking. the back was plastic though.
so to answer your question, people would jump andriod ship in seconds if cost isnt a problem. and maybe one more thing that i never liked about apple, bcak in 2010 if i had to put music in my phone, that was a very bad process, u install itunes, then put music in it, then connect ur phone and then sync. i appriciate simple draging and droping files in and out of then phones media folder. but hey that was some years ago i dont know how they do it now.
all these other chinese mobiles, redmi xiomi huawei and what not, trust me only people that are using these phones are those who cannot afford an iphone and phone is a need. or maybe playing games, that i dont do. but yeah. all the poor in 3rd world countries. thats there market.

I did and it was to save money. Got sick of Samsung almost never updating the phones after 2 years or being 1 year later. Very happy with the phone, I don't feel like it's getting deprecated as fast as it was with my Samsung phones.

You just can't ban a big of a company like Huawei without strong evidence. You can read articles, there's a ton of them. Even Huawei accepted their fate. Sure, they may have overtaken Apple briefly, but look at what happened. Apple is still the top dog and the company to beat.
