As for SD powered Samsung phones, I jumped into that hyped and got burned. My S21FE (SD888) is good only on paper. I mean, it's very nice phone, with beautiful display and very good camera (flagship level), but the SD888 chipset is the worst chipset they could have used for this model. Is totally not efficient, also it throttles a lot. This S21FE is worse than my previous S21 and S20 phones when it comes to battery (both with Exynos chipsets).
I got into the hyped of having a SD Samsung flagship phone (in Europe, where I live), but I am disappointed. I am already planning to sell it, but can't find a nice phone that I like with nice chipset (other than SD888 or SD 8 gen 1, who are both rather bad chipsets). And I don't want iPhone right now (not until they put USB C, decrease the charging speed time and get rid of the notch, or at least put some other option of unlocking the phone).
I hope next year, Samsung ditches Exynos for good in Europe and S23 Ultra will have some SD 8 gen 2 or something, who will smoke everything on the market and be super efficient.

When you buy an iPhone, you don't even think about software support because I know it's great. Whether I change iPhones every year or once every 5 years. Who says you need to have phone for 5 years? But if it happens, it's a nice to have.

Why was Zte banned? Was ZTE selling more than Apple too?
Why the telecon structure of both are being removed by USA and some other countries?
Most of Huawei sales were Honor phones, way over 50% of total count, by the way.
Selling more than both during 1 quarter in 4 of the year means nothing.
What is the point to brag about selling 200 million phones when 70% of them cost less than $450 while the "opponent " is selling more than 170 million phones that cost over $650?
13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro max alone will be counting for near 200 million units when 14 series is announced. Or even more than 200.
People here needs to stop with illusion White House cares about how many iphones are sold. Chinese economy benefits much more with iphone sales than american economy.

None of the people I know with iPhones (I can safely say, more than 10), have iPhones older than iPhone 11 series. And that includes family people with 1-3 children, who have other priorities let’s say.
And some of them are already planning buying or at least are interested in buying the iPhone 14 series from this year.

Bruh💀 people who change their phone on a 2-3 year basis are the minority. Bet if your Android phone gets 5-6 years of software support, you'd be screaming all over, praising them as the best phone ever when Apple has been doing it for years lol. Everyone might not be updating because not everyone is tech-savvy, but it's something akin to a good to have, rather than marketing/liability. Who doesn't want to know their phone is still being supported after all these years? Did you got too used to your phone not having more than 3 years of support? 💀

Even though Samsung has a good fanbase in US, their beloved company Apple is the most loved in there. Americans (the ones that have the power to change things), didn’t liked that their beloved company is overtaken by a Chinese one.
They don’t and didn’t mind if Samsung overtook them. But when Huawei did it, no more mister nice guy, lol.
Is pity actually, I had some Huawei phones in the past who worked flawlessly for years (iPhone lag free style). Even now I have a Honor 20 lying around and that phone works like in the first day. Even though is not getting updates anymore.

Yet, when I tell the fanboys that Apple users change their iPhone the same like Android users (meaning once per 2-3 years on average), they don’t believe me.
This kind of news shows that I am more right than they are. Iphone users don’t change their iPhone once per 5-6 years like they assume.
So, basically all that 5-6 longevity of software support is almost for nothing. Is more marketing than actual practicality.
