Updated my pixel 5a yesterday and it's been hell, it's is so so buggy and the most noticable for me is my music player(power amp) which reboots my phone as soon as any song starts playing.

    I love my S22 but honestly I’m jealous of Pixel owners just because of the stock look of Android. It looks 100 times better than tired One UI and I’m sick of trying to find launchers to replicate that.

                    Elastic overscroll is immediately noticeable and some people hate it.

If you want newest Android version on Chinese phones, you need to buy the newest model they released. It has always been their business model.
                            But, then again, if the phone works on Android 11 or 12, why the need for Android 13?

                            Security updates are more important than Android versions. Problem is, that even in security updates, Chinese phones lack behind Samsung for example. You get 1 security update each 3 months in newest released models. In older models probably once per 6 months (I don't know, I never had a Chinese phone for more than 6-12 months, lol).

                                    And just like that, Android 13 prevents File Managers from adding to the Android/obb folders. Not good.

Google just keeps the system up-to-date and mainly security demands. And how the others use it, is not Google's fault. Samsung does it perfectly, but that's the reason why their devices are more expensive. If you want to buy cheap, expect cheap... in everything.
