Advertisment is a plague lol. I understand it is necessary in some sense for marketing, but it would be so much more effective to have very short ads that have a strong message. You don't have to convince people to buy your food, tech, clothes, etc. If you give them a strong message in less than 20 seconds (preferably under 15), people would appreciate it. But companies love to just pump their air time up thinking that's what customers want. Maybe you could spend that money paying your employees living wages and making your product better. Just my 2 cents lol

Inva, 18 Aug 2022"ad-supported tier" means the same content, same ... moreKinda like what you've been used to with cable TV. Stop feeling so entitled. And no, it won't be every 5 minutes. It will vary between every 20-30 minutes. That's fair.

If Netflix can sell it half the price of their Mobile ads, that can be worth talking.

Netflix: We made horrible contect, we will fix it by making more!
Netflix later: Damn! We are losing customers. Let us increase prices.
Netflix even later: What are we doing wrong here? We know! Let us make our platform even more hard to reach, and remove important faetures. This has to attract people back.
Netflix in the near future: Seems like we have to use the big guns. We will increase the prices further more, add ad banners with the video ads, have to use internet at all times and NO quality controls, has to be either 4k or 480, more stupid woke content and remove shows people actually want to watch.

This is a "how to ruin a company step by step" at this point really.
They go from bad to worse.

What about streaming do we not understand? I want to watch content and I pay a fee for it. But I don’t have any right to give my creds to friends. If they want to watch Netflix they can buy their own subscription. But nooooooo! All the self-entitled idiots make it to where I have to pay even more (or endure commercials) so Netflix doesn’t go broke.

Catch up lost money with ads will lead to even less subscription in my opinion. If they losing it without ads and sharing account, what they can expect than.

Netflix should first bring a plan, with 4k streaming for one user only at a competitive price. Dictating multi-user costs on to one customer, to get a proper 4k streaming is just bizarre.
