I'm ok with my S22U but 6h screen on time is less than other phones. Also i returned my previous S22 (standard model ) becasue of 3.5h screen on time. Snapdragon 8gen1 is a joke.

There is always room for improvement but it has certainly slowed up with mobile cameras unless you can fit a massive sensor.

We aren't in the mid 2000's any more where there were big form factor changes and massive improvements to hardware. I only upgraded to the S22U after 3 years on a Mate 20X. I'll probably skip the S23U and see what comes with the S24U.

The overall size of the iPhone 13 is smaller despite having the same display size as the 11, the frame is flat since the 12 series, the notch is smaller on the 13 series.

Never before was the phone market as stagnant. A useless industry to follow anymore. Unbounded exponential my a$$. Kurzweil and Co are/were wrong. Everything that is improving exponentially , finds a hard cap, diminishes its yearly returns and then just stops.
Happened with car engines for the most part, airline engines and now phones and computers.
We have to invent the next big thing, phones are stagnant.

Snapdragon 8 gen 2 will also have a considerable improvement in performance over the gen 1. S23 to S22 will be like comparing S20 to S22 in terms of power.

I just hope they will at least change the camera block appearance. They always used to do that and they stopped with Fold4 which is infuriating.
You can not leave the design unchanged for the most expensive product you got ...unless you're Apple and your fans don't have a real alternative.

Useless phone. Theres not even a difference between that phone and the S23+ except the pen of S. Photo quality will even be worse on the S23 ultra and lowlight will not even bee (so many bees and honey) possible.
