Nothing Phone (1) isn't getting Android 13 this year

Nothing will continue to release software updates for the Phone (1) to improve the user experience.

So no commitment other than by June next year. Even oppo is better ironically enough. Not exactly the iphone level of competitor space they were claiming in the pre launch hype.
And Carl Pei's comment on twitter sounded so arrogant and non customer friendly saying android version isn't important.

    Samsung before S10 used to provide new android by march/april.
    Ppl did not complain.

      extend that schedule to 2050
