Axel, 27 Mar 2023Unfortunately it is the Samsung process 4 nm LPE https:... moreHas anyone tested this chip with Antutu 9?

I would like to see the score as it would be a direct comparison to other chips in performance like the SD778G.

Does anyone know whether this soc will be made by Samsung or TSMC? If they change the manufacturing process back to Samsung (the Snapdragon 695 is produced by TSMC) then this chip will be simply a step back in efficiency and heat output. Samsung is absolutely useless in this regard. I am planning to buy the upcoming Xperia 10 v, which should use this new soc, but only will do so if they use TSMC. I don't want to buy a new phone with worse battery life than my current one.

Aierlan, 28 Aug 2022It did launch on the Oppo Reno 8 pro in China a few months ... moreYup, the SD 7 Gen 1 only beats the 778G in GPU wise. While the 778G has the GPU on par with the SD 845 (if not a little better), the 7 Gen 1 is on par with the 855.
The 6 Gen 1 CPU would be on par with the SD 765 or 768 while the GPU should be on par with the SD 845.
