128GB of internal storage at this price? What use is the camera if you don't have space? The SD card slot and flash storage don't support the A1/A2/V30 transfer speed of microsd cards. So basically you can't even install too many apps on the phone itself or you wouldn't have any 4k recording room to play with.

Literally the smartphone I've been wanting as a replacement for my Pixel 5, but only option is a grey market reseller on eBay. Local service center won't touch the phone if I, say, broke the screen. Stuff like that is discouraging.

I'm fine with not putting a charger but cable?! No, that's too far. I get that companies want more money but c'mon now, what's next? We will have to buy separately pieces of the device and connect them on our own?

I personally find the absence of the Xperia 1 Mk4's continuous variable zoom telephoto sensor a real bummer. But since the telephoto sensor can do 120fps, I'm okay with that trade odd. I don't think I ever see any smartphone with a telephoto camera that can record such a high frame rate.

Oppo just announced no more charger in the box from 2023 and on.
And vooc does not work with 3rd party chargers.
They all see how much cash Apple has saved after removing and then earned with sales.

WTH, thats the point to this 5iv? Same ram, same storage, remove the optical zoom, but added wireless charging for what? I though I would skip 5iii, but it seems that 5iii will be a more sensible choice!

Removed periscope by own choice. Not necessity.
By the way, there is no 1/3.5" .
It is crop from 1/1.5" like 1 iv has.

Sony is just the Apple of Android.
At least Apple has the software policy and the closed ecosystem (if you fancy those).
Sony, is just a normal Android manufacturer with very high prices.
Sony never again for me.
