Why only 128 GB of storage ? It should be at least 256 gb if you take in count various pre-installed applications which can't be uninstalled or transferred to the sd card.

I'm using the Xperia 5 III since November and the variable telephoto lens is what I love the most. I was eager to see the new camera set and I'm honestly disappointed to encounter a significant downgrade in the new edition of the phone. I think they were on the right way, it was a breakthrough last year and I really hope they will bring something bigger next year. Until then, 5 III is the better choice over IV

I can buy 2 x Pixel 6a for the price of the new Sony plus have enough left over for trip to London 😉 Love the 3.5mm and audio, better speakers, guess wireless charging (although less efficient charging than cable so not so green) but not enough to put £500+ extra on the table.

Lack of... moreI don't know where you get that from, but biggest chunk of iOS users upgrade their phones once every few years, often even using their phone after support did stop (I know plenty of 5S users myself)
The rich and the tech geeks upgrade each year, you know those loud minority that makes it look like they are the whole world being like that.
Same people that would upgrade their Samsung Galaxy of Google Pixel each year, even while both give 5 years of security updates.

Lack of... moreIt's not a bad thing to run 1 or 2 android updates behind.
But I am talking about security updates here, they are important especially if like in my country a lot of stuff forces you to use apps, but the moment something goes wrong you are out of luck if your phone didn't run more recent security updates.
And I know this is different around the world, but the moment this cursed world started to rely too much on phones with impoirtant stuff, that's where it went the wrong way, because back in the day (10 years ago) I didn't care about updates, I cared about my smartphone just doing it's job.

Lack of new android does not force you to have new phone.
Ppl buy because they simply want.
Galaxy S5 and iphone 6 are both 2014 phones.
S5 got 2 androids, iphone got 5 or 6 iOS.
S5 can use more apps than iphone 6.
How do you explain so many iphone users getting new iphone every year if they can earn 6 versions of iOS?

Like samsung. Increase the gap between flagships to lure ppl into the most expensive.
This is only thing right Apple does. Both are equal, just different sizes.

No mention of improved software support. It's almost criminal that Sony still giving 2 OS and 3 years security updates to $1000+ phones like the 1iv and 5iv.
