5000mAh is...impressive but I somehow suspect that its intended purpose was to offset the inefficient SoC's power consumption. If only this ran the TSMC version it would be perfect, in a sense.

I don’t like the frosted glass back, looks like it’s plastic and cheap. The 10 IV has a plastic back and looks like same as the 5 IV! The mirror finish back of the 5 III was so much better. Also with 8 Gen 1 if Sony take months to release this it will already be old compared to the other new phones launching with 8+.

They lost me on the price tag. Some £1000 with the charger and cable included... what a ripoff. I was thinking of this or the Zenfone 9 if this was cheaper but it's not even a competition anymore. Pass me whatever Sony is smoking.

Stop wearing clothes, it also requires electricity, and to produce electricity, the mass power plant still run from fossil fuels. Not gonna mention all materials for production.
Stop using home appliances. Do I need to mention more?
Oh also forgot to mention using vehicles for transportation, shipment, journey and so on.

And using app from play store isn't much of a concern. It's the apk files from 3rd party app stores should be the issue yet I use mostly apps from 3rd party store for my redmi 4x. And after 5 years it's going strong without any security issue lol.

And that's how you help environment with more boxes and materials.

a) no needless accesories in the box for those, who already have some;
b) the package is smaller and lighter, so in one container you transport more phones (less emissions of whatever you consider relevant);
c) you need less materials to make the package (less energy and resource consumption).
