Plus, Xiaomi also already have the FaceID tech that they use in Mi 8 and Poco F1 in 2018. They most definitely transfer those to pill display. So it will look similar to Apple new iPhone.

They use AI ones, why would they need pill+hole shaped or just the pill display? Or they simply want to copy the design and stay relevant 🤷🏻♂️
I don't think they will copy this, punch hole is more than enough for them.

There will be copycats but ultimately it won't be a mainstream design choice, considering OEMs are trying to get rid of the camera cut-out altogether.

Samsung and Sony never copy that design. And as far as I know, only Xiaomi copy it (almost fully) with its Xiaomi Mi 8 model. But, after that even Xiaomi ditch that ugly notch, starting with Mi 9 series.
So maybe 1 or 2 models each and there, will be copied by some Android manufacturers. Usually some cheaper ones, to make them more appealing. Their premium models will never be copied from Apple. Especially nowadays, when even a Xiaomi or OnePlus flagship can cost 800-1000EUR.
As far as I know, none of the 2022 Android flagships looks like an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Oppo, Vivo, Realme, OnePlus, Samsung, Motorola, Asus, Xiaomi flagships, all look totally different than an iPhone (design wise).
