The average Apple user, doesn't even care or know any Android features, models, prices, etc. They just grab the next iPhone available, when they want to change. They don't care how the newest iPhone looks compared to other models, they don't care how is the price compared to other models, they don't care about anything. They just go and buy the newest iPhone. Period.
For me, this is blind loyalty. Saying and acting like the iPhone is the best phone on the market, but you didn't experienced anything else ever.
Of course, each individual with their own. But, for me is sad to live like that.

Almost no matter what Apple does, they'll still be better at software support than 99% of Android phones, meaning the thing I care about is still better on iPhone. It has nothing to do with loyalty.

I don't comment about phones I have no intention of buying. However I'll most likely be getting the iPhone 15 Pro Max so it's good to see what I'll be buying in 2023🙂(minimal increments being Apple's norm)

That's why Apple can do just about whatever they want.
But, some clients (me included) can get tired of their practices and go 100% to Android. When Apple will start thinking again about its customers and actually do something on this regard, probably then I will consider another iPhone.
Being loyal is nice quality. Being too loyal is just stup*dity.

I'm sure a lot of people would take the note 9 design with a bezeless chin

Hahaha a lot of people reacting Apple not innovating, these are inferior products right? Some people just can’t imagine “inferior” products being brought by some. Well better stick with your high-spec, all number touting, first introducer feature, top-of-the line smartphones then. Imagine Apple is just a tiny speck on the market share yet a lot of people are showing reactions…

Jokes aside, can we still get s8/s9/note8/note9 design? They're still better despite them being for more than half a decade!
I guess not, people still buy, so why corporates bother to change anything at all?

Being supposedly the "world's most valuable company", Apple CLEARLY has the money to use punch-hole cameras on their phones, but as one commenter here said, they will do anything to their products to make them sell. Even if it meant making the products worse than others.
Even though I applaud Apple for their good software optimization, I know VERY well that they are not using the punch-hole camera on purpose. They really don't want to give up the notch
They know what they are doing. Every. Single. Time.
But maybe the main camera getting upgraded to 48 MP from 12 MP, if true, will be enough to make up for the inclusion of the dual notch and likely lack of a USB-C port?

Though I gotta admit it's funny as we were all hating on the pill + punchhole cutouts a moment ago. But now in hindsight I see how that would've been nicer, as you get a tad bit more screen.

Not sure if I like this or not. It looks more symmetrical and makes sense but the dual cut out looked more unique and would have made the new models look more different making it feel like a completely new device
