Despite this, they'll probably sell better than Oppo, Honor, Vivo and Xiaomi flagships even though the lack of 5g is a big disadvantage in China.

Also if USA didn't stop production of Kirin all their companies would have loose money in the end.

Anyway, just another xiaomi lover that is waiting to get hands on new iphone, while bashing all other.
By the way, 12s Ultra cannot beat compact cameras. What a failure. Lets see if Honor Magic 5 Ultimate can do it, because 989 inside Find X6 Pro is gonna be wasted too.

Olympus Oms, 06 Sep 2022Huawei have 5g. Wake up. ......HAD 5G. Any 5G technology uses US parts and because of sanctions, they can't even get those parts from 3rd-parties and Qualcomm only got permission to give Huawei processors with 4G capabilities.

Very disappointed they removed Monochrome module, this is ridiculous small 1/1.5" sensor and without Monochrome to work togather with that. 😔

Another joke release from Huawei.
The lack of 5G is understandable,but at least the 8+gen1 is a solid chip in general.
But WTF are those specs of Mate 50?
90hz display and battery under 4500mah for that price?
And the 50 pro battery under 5000mah in 2022 for that price?
And the return of the notch is just stupid. It looks even worse than on Iphones....
Imagine if Huawei had Google services and was top brand in sales how much higher the prices would be. Its crazy.

Zenfone 9 = 8+G1 , throttles to 59%
Z4 Flip = 8+g1 , throttles to 46%.

I used the Mate 30 Pro & when Apple used to struggle with face masks, this phone did not. Plus it is more accurate. Huawei also gives two options for unlocking, the fingerprint sensor. Unlike Apple which sticks to one.
Yes the notch is obtrusive & ugly but considering the size & curves of the phone, it does not bother at all. I experienced this myself. Yes, I am a notch hater.

They say tele because you can focus on things while being a lot bit more far away from the subject. In the way you won't scare away an imsect or you won't put dirt on your phone.
